    UK onry.

Drum and Bass eh? The new poncey Roni Size intelligent DnB or dirty, filthy old skool? (I'm old)
I would have said Roni Size is dirthy, filty old skool (he certainly hasn't released anything in time; I actually saw him a few months ago and he was quite disappointing). I'm more into liquid funk kinda hospital records stuff when I'm not in a club, but when I am in a club then anything goes. Seeing DJ Zinc on Friday, maybe, hopefully he will be good. Favourite DJ's are Danny Byrd and Bryan G (Also like Nu:Tone, this guy I know is cousins with him and Logistics). Used to like High Contrast but his latest shit has been, well, shit. But maybe I'm just bitter because I missed the limited pre-release promo's of Everythings Different from the hospital shop :<[/quote:83575]

I'm much older than that -.-

I remember DJ Hype before he was a pretentious cunt >_>

Roni Size first released stuff back in like '94?

Doesn't really bother me. I really, really don't like old drum and bass. It is amazing how much it has progressed in the past 10 years.

Anything after about '95 I'm not a huge fan of, I started with listening to acid back in what, '88 and grew up with it. I like the odd newer tune, but it never quite hits the spot. Showing my age I guess -.-

Maybe. How much are you into the current 'scene'? And where do you live? The main reason I don't like old DnB is because it's just too simple for me, to the point that I could almost be listening to a broken record repeating the same loop over and over. Maybe I haven't just heard the right stuff though.

I'm too old to go out raving these days, I'm 32 now. I live in London. Back in the day the drugs were perfect for the music. Now I'm a pipe and slippers home bod.
