    elemental ninjutsu duration etc. question

    1. How long does the -resistance effect of ele ninjutsu last?
    2. does the duration vary depending on how much the ninjutsu gets resisted? or is the time always constant?
    3. can you restart the timer on when the ninjutsu will wear(ex elegy) by just recasting over and over? or does it have to wear first before you can restack it?

    Ganked from Wiki

The resistance down on an elemental ninjutsu is -30 despite the level of the ninjutsu. The resistance down lasts for 8/10/12 seconds (ichi/ni/san)

I thought I remember some old test saying that the Ichi elemental ninjutsu reduced the resistance more than the Ni? I thought it was ridiculous at first, but then I saw the proof. This was like, almost 2 years ago though... Maybe it was changed?

Is it a constant number, or the debuff is affected by a stats (like int?) Maybe ni is just scaled, while ichi is a fixed number

that duration is pretty weak :\ was hoping for at least 30-45 seconds. was running over the possibility in my head of supplementing threnody with -resist from ninjutsu on something like tia when he flies. but with that duration unless fully merited in 1 ninjutsu you wouldn't even have time to spam hate moves and keep the -resist effect on. booo, thanks though.

Na, pretty sure at least for Hojo, its a static % slow, dunno if any stat will help the jubaku paralyze proc more often.

I believe that the potency of Ichi level debuffs is based off your Ninjutsu skill, but the cap on them is below that of the Ni level. INT or MND or whatnot plays no role in potency for them.

I don't know where he got the info but I remember Russta stating this in the past.

I did some tests a while back on the elemental reductions and ichi and ni were the same amount.. don't know about duration though..

This might be totally off base, but I remember in a thread I made testing quickdraw a LONG time ago (it was still the old forums), somebody mentioned that the -resist is removed after the first elemental attack hits the target post application. No-one rebuked him at the time so I have since thought that was the case

Is that wrong? Ill see if I can find the thread..

edit: heres the original thread, http://www.bluegartr.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10414 (did the old threads get moved to the new forums?)

    the post in question is

I only had Ice cards to test with, no fire or water, but I think I may be clutching to straws.
I could be wrong, but I was always told that NIN elemental debuffs only last until the next spell is cast... So since quickshot is considered a magic attack, that would make sense why it removes the debuff.

Pretty sure wiki is wrong on that; I think it's a flat 30 second duration.
