Anyways, whenever Kalia's parser shows individual fights and has defensive columns (hits evaded / absorbed by shadows), I'll be able to show why thf/war blows for merits.

Um...isnt that sort of the point of the whole thread? To stop pretending you're better then everyone and actually go out and beat AV, instead of just saying how its GOING to work?

in this parse here, you can notice a few things.

One, I dominated the shit out of two wars...granted most of it was on piercing weak mobs, its about time there are piercing weak merit mobs.


What you are unable to deduce from the parse is the following:
the line "of Nynja's shadows absorbs the damage" appears around 60 times, the line "Copy Image effect wears off" appears 10 times, the line "misses Nynja" appears 37 times, though twice was proceeded by "Copy Image effect wears off" twice, so 35 times, and the line "hits nynja for" appears 10 times. Of those 10 hits that successfully hit me, they were all from Colibri, 2 were without protect for 199 and 205 damage, the other 8 ranged between 119 and 191 damage, with an average of 146. This parse lasted around 30-35 minutes, guaging based on when I recieved protect and when it wore off (it was never reapplied).

In 30 minutes, I had 105 hits directed at me, this is not counting WS's. Going off my small sample of evading 37 hits out of 107 melee strikes directed at me, thats an evade rate of 34%, lets say 1/3. a 1/3 evade rate is pathetic. Now, onto my shadows. They migitated damage from 60 hits. SIXTY. Going on the average damage of 146 per strike (bugards hit much harder for the record), that's me migitating 8760 damage in 30-35 minutes.


Think about that...

yes but wasn't LB's also locked up until it did its bracelet change move and bene'd? The idea of it being "locked" is very confusing because its been reported a few different ways, and it also can come "unlocked".
