So yeah, I haven't read everything because I've been awake for liek 20 hours and I'm tired but...

Shadows or not, how do you expect to survive 30 seconds in melee range against something with MS+HF up that will crit DRKs for 500-600 damage? (From what I've gathered from these last few pages, the idea is to throw them at AV during those 2hrs. Correct me if I'm mistaken.) I've seen dynamis monks chew through shadow-endowed players on several occasions, and they're not as hard-hitting or accurate as AV. >_>

If it doesn't use WS during these 2hrs, perhaps dread spikes will work?

Can't Dread Spikes get resisted? And if they can, I'm 100% sure Absolute Virtue will have a good resist rate on them.

Yup.

They can be resisted, but I'm pretty sure AV either doesn't resist it or doesn't resist very often. I played around with the AV we popped last Friday and it never even partially resisted Dread spikes through about 5 hits total (not all on the same life of course).

JoL never resisted it either through two fights with it, including one time it smacked me for over 1k and dread spikes drained back like 900.
