How far from alliance can you be to enter salvage?

Would someone at the stagging point get teleported with the rest of the alliance, or you actually have to be close to the door to zone in.


It could save 2-3 minutes when you are waiting for someone to run there.

I remember once for the Ashu Talif mission, everyone had to be ON the little boat. When I first did it, I also seem to recall that people had to be really close to the entry point, but that seems to have been laxed recently.
