Apollyon split run Alliance question

My LS has just started doing split Apollyon runs.

The question was brought up if we could re-alliance everyone (all 18 ) once the 2 separate Alliances (of 9ish each) have entered their respective Apollyon zone?

It would be much more practical drop-wise (maybe also confusing with /p spam though)

Our limbus group does this on nights when enough people show up. You have to dissolve before entering, but you can re-ally once inside, even if one group enters at mea and the other group enters at dem.

Yes you can, but make sure to disband before entering. We did that mistake once and had to wait 45min for the other team to zone out before being able to enter.

Disband before entering? couldn't you just log out instead of waiting 45 mins?

Yeah, we do this sometimes when we have like 15 people show up for Limbus. Just be sure to split up the alliance before entering, and reform it before getting any coins in your loot pool.

Pro's: More total coins and AF+1, plus you get 1/2 of an Omega completed in one night. People from one group can lot the AF+1 items from the other group, giving everyone a greater chance of getting what they want.

Con's: Unless you talk in /say, party chat can get confusing with 2 runs happening at once. Also, from a WHM standpoint it always annoys me when I see someone's hp bar drop suddenly and frantically try to target them before realizing they're in the other zone. Assuming you're pooling all coins from both zones and splitting them at the end, one group may have to wait awhile for the other group to finish depending on the zones you choose.

The pro's definitely outweigh the con's, though - I'd recommend splitting into 2 groups whenever you have the manpower to do it.
