Wierd Mouse Issue

Mostly noticeable when playing FPS games, but it does it in everything, occasionally when moving my mouse my camera will quickly jump looking straight up and start spinning. Always seems to happen when I'm getting shot at and trying to aim and it sucks ass. Any idea? About ready to buy a new mouse and see if that fixes it seeing as my old computer doesn't do that.

What type of mouse are you using? Have you tried cleaning the sensor if it's an optical mouse?

Try adjusting the sensitivity of the mouse under mouse properties in Windows control panel. Also, check to see if there are any driver updates for your mouse.

I'd also try a different mouse to see if maybe it's the mouse going sour... or if it's an issue with the game/ Windows

USB or PS2 mouse
Optical or Traditional Ball
Wired or Wireless

Check connections on mouse
Clean sensor on optical or remove ball and clean with a slightly damp paper towel and let completely dry before putting back in, and use rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab on the rollers if it's a traditional one

Check the wireless conection and the batteries if its wireless.

wired, optical, usb. its done it since i got the computer, ive cleaned the sensor before and it didnt seem to do anything either as it did it again within an hour.

Does it operate normally in windows and operates strangly when playing games or is it strange all the time?

normally in windows, however i should add, im only in windows for like 30secs till whatever game is fully loaded

What's the manufacture of your mouse, also have you tried different USB ports.

I'd reccomend downloading new drivers as well as changing the port that the USB mouse is plugged into.
