You can be warned for downloading anything illegal off the internet. A friend of mine decided to download a single movie and got a warning letter.

I think the companies watch for heavy traffic users and the odd ball one just to scare the shit out of the "oh I'll give it a try" user.

Personally I'll stick to my newsgroups. No need to upload and I get blazing fast downloads with releases up within days.

ONly time i got in trouble was for uploading too much (this is in the U.S.). Ive downloaded a shit ton of movies/games/music, and never had a problem. They was pissed i uploaded 5GB in one day, which is understandable. I don't know if using tor has helped, but i've never been busted for DLing copywrite material.

for the past 2 months, i have downloaded at least 20 movies and 10 tv episodes, including the new ones just came out in the threater, such as the prestige, the illusionist, blood diamond, departed, etc. i haven't heard anthing from my isp, and i also have comcast in phliadelphia centercity area.

If you use azereus be sure to download the safepeer plugin, it works like that standalone program that blocks IPs but it works directly into azereus with a preloaded list that is updated.

You had may as well stick a condom over your modem for the use that things like safepeer are it will give just as much protection.
