stupid theory from me but worked 7 times in a row when i do bhaf remnants:

i always RUSH to the west room asap when i can move and it always pop

No Mad Bomber on Western side.

This appears to be another conflicting datapoint.

Extra Bifrons on the 'wrong' (west) side again, whatever that means, heh.

Looks to be a shot theory, but the data could still be useful for something (time of day entered, moonphase, blah blah). I'd put (not much) money on random, but I'd like to be surprised...

Entered on windsday even hour, opened door on even minute/hour. Waxing crescent (7%) no pop west.

the key to getting it to pop is nikkei, however if nikkei knows this, she will not spawn mad bomber for you, much to kunos sadness
