a quick trip to amazong has revealed that Staring at the sea is earily Greatest hits and Galore is later Greatist hits. SO your right, however, looking at the track listing, I'm going to reccomend Galore

I like the Deftones cover, but I don't even like the original version of Just Like Heaven, so I doubt anyone else covering it is going to make me like it better. I'm a huge Cure fan, btw. I just think Fat Bob sometimes goes a little too fluffy with his material. I prefer Fat Bob when Fat Bob wasn't Fat Bob and was skinny-on-drugs Robert Smith freaking out and depressed, ala Pornography. Now *that* was some kick ass The Cure music! 8)

I agree with both sides on this matter.

Lbelle's as Jersey put it "holier than thou" attitude was kind of harsh and uncalled for.

But as much as I'd like to see a music forum, I know it would fail. It would be cool for like a week then it would just be 1 never ending thread of "I'm listening to this right now" and it would attract all the little sheeny fucks who love to say "omg your music sucks" "why listen to music when you cant understand the lyrics?" "you guys are dumb, iron maiden and dream theater are the best ever!!!!!!!" or my personal favorite "they were better 10 years ago when they were underground"

But yeah Jersey "Sing The Sorrow" by AFI is an amazing album, Davey Havok is such an emotional singer its scary.

Name of the Alexisonfire song is "Boiled Frogs". "The Boiled Frog" is a metaphor for so many things, generally for collective inaction, or failure to notice gradual changes around one's self, and then ultimately suffer catastrophic loss.

I actually used to be into a lot of that type of "scene" music, but not anymore. What changed? Well I like to think that I grew up.
