Vegas alone shits on Resistance. Honestly, that game is so god damn overrated by Sony fanboys. Its the only game thats half-decent on PS3 so of course everyones going to hype it up. Or you can wait 2 months and get Vegas on PS3, but i like xbox controllers for shooters over ps2 controllers.

Friends, and because I dunno, I want it? I have a 360, and while yes it's better for shooters - that's pretty much the only thing I play it for now. Just gears. Gears gears gears. As for why get it on the ps3 over the xbox, I guess I rather just have it on the PS like i'm used to. I've played the game since it was on ps1 so its just more natural on that controller for me. I was going to get a ps3 eventually anyway since I like what it has to offer in the future, so why not just get it now and start collecting games for it.

Even though thats kinda true LOL it's more about being lazy rather than not being able to find. It's not hard to go to the store 3 times a week and pick up one, but I really don't like the wii at all. Sure i'd play zelda, but probably never another game ever again. It's just not for me.

Granted, I don't play that many different games on my 360, I do know however there are more than just shooters on it. I know you love Mech Games, did you try playing ChromeHounds? It was a decent mech game.

I can understand you wanting to play AC4 on a controller that you are familiar with, but I would think you would want to go with the better version, and from what I've been able to find the better version at least for online is the 360 version.

I mean it's true that Naotoshi Zin said he didn't want the PS3 and 360 versions to be exactly alike, you have to admit though that currently and for the immediate future the 360 has a much larger online community to play with. That after all only translates to more fun for you as a gamer.

Oh well, as you said though you are getting a PS3 for what it has to offer in the future. I was simply trying to say you don't have to buy the PS3 now & can wait until some time down the road when things are better with it as a whole, and I say this as a PS3 owner.

To be honest, ever since I quit FFXI back in July of last year, I haven't really wanted to play online games (or only features), simply because I was fed up with the retarded kids that run all over the place in these games.

I decided I was finished with MMOs, and with that I just kind of drifted away from online play. I did play some online matches, but I was really pissed at all those 10 year olds playing with you, yelling in the channel like they're some retarded kids that got hit on the head with a steel pipe.

I haven't really cared for Resistance online either... FFXI killed my online interest pretty much, even though i'm sure i'll pick it back up eventually. For now I just enjoy playing Insane co-op with random friends once in a while.

Suprisingly most of the people on Gears are usually pretty cool, in player matches anyway. I really am praying for Epic to implement ranked Clans play or teams or w/e you want to call it later because I have developed a really core group of friends that I love playing with.
If you can develop a group of friends to play with in that game rather than just random people, it doesn't get much more fun.

Actually, only ps3 game I have is resistance, and I played it for about 20 minutes because I'm still trying to finish off GD FF12. (at Giruvegan now, god I remember when I played the JP version this is where I got stuck and just lost interest when I realized I had to level up a good 5-6 lvs on everyone before I could move on.) Anyways, this time I'm only leveling 3 chars, so it's a lot easier, but yeah... haven't been using my PS3 for much else.

Our PS3 hasn't gotten any use since beating FFXII. Well, thats not totally true, a friend gave us a Blu-Ray copy of The Davinci Code they picked up at a fleamarket for 10$.

Btw Bethany, still haven't figured out the whole registering my gamertag on the Comp yet. I called Xbox customer support and talked to quite possibly the dumbest person on the planet. But I know I need to merge a Windows Live Email with my gamertag to do it, do you know how to do that?

You know, I was still trying to mess with that last night and for the life of me I can't figure it out either. I did figure it had something to do with Windows Live email but you would think they would make that crap a little less complicated or at least give instructions in laymens terms so that everyone knew what the hell was going on.

On another note, please don't get me started on Xbox Customer Support... I have had to deal with them twice and both times I felt like I was talking a different language to the operator. First was trying to figure out why in the hell they linked POL IDs to GamerTags for FFXI, and the second was to cancel the License for Phantasy Star Universe. When canceling the license the guy actually put up a fight... at first he didn't know what it was and then when he figured it out he tried to talk me out of it.. I'm like no.. Just cancel it. I don't want to keep trying it, I don't want to explain whats wrong with it, just cancel it. I had to threaten to speak to a supervisor to get him to do it.
