Skilling up evasion

Evasion only skills with Utsusemi up if the mob misses completely.....its kinda fucking stupid...but thats the way it is..

If a mob takes your shadow it will not give you evasion skill..

However if a mob hits you and you take damage it will give you evasion skill..

Sounds like a programming oversight...but yeah..

Lots of THFs i know have soloed steelshells since they are EM-T some of them they will cap an A+ skill and they will miss you completely fairly often...

Best way might be evasion down gear.....and a mage to cure you or something....just aggro the mob so mage can cure bomb without getting attacked....

Skilled while stealing coins in Bibiki for a good bit, but for the last 6-ish levels it started to slow down a bit.
Went to sky and aggro'd the dolls on the god islands, don't hit too hard, zone is really close too. Think I just used def gear with an earth staff, and black curry. Didn't take too long. :3

Yes because it makes sense for the job with second best evasion in the game (NIN) to have to evade attacks or get hit and take damage to skill up...

Its kinda silly to me that a NIN will cap evasion fast with no Utsusemi, while with Utsusemi it will take forever....why have a job with 2nd best evasion in game have to resort to not using their best spell in order to cap evasion fast..

Leveling NIN it often took more than the level to hit evasion cap....cause I was well..tanking with utsusemi?

Do you attend Besieged? My evasion was very low (not lolDRK enough) but Besieged capped it in a few weeks.

My NIN was 75 and capped evasion long before lol besieged..
