Is this inverted? The colibri conned more evasive with 24 acc than 23...Originally Posted by Slott
After afflicted with defense-down, the high->even transition was +[1, 3] instead of +24.ok now, i took off all my acc gear (+0) = high evasion, put on swift belt only +3 = medium evasion.. I dont own anything with less than +3 accuracy.
Now go repeat this test on something lv50 instead of lv 60 and we'll have confirmation it's a static number instead of a percent.
I cant aurik, lvl 50 stuff all cons too low, and yeah those numbers are inverted...23 = high evasion 24 = medium -,-
Well, at least we have an estimate, ~21-23 or 10% reduced evasion.
Equip a weapon you have low skill in your mainhand, and put the dagger in your offhand. That way weak shit will con high evasion.
only melee job is thief, h2h was my lowest weapon at 194.
Even with sword or something you should be able to at least get some normal evasion checks on Lv. 50ish mobs.Originally Posted by Slott
colibri are 71-73, everything else in wajaom and bhaflau on the way were all "low evasion" naked the acception was a tiger which conned medium evasion nekkid. Problem is as soon as I put on +4 acc, he dropped to low. Kind of hard to test with his evasion being so low.
And with sword skil higher than h2h, i'd have an even harder time.
edit in: tigers are 67 - 69
How does this evasion down effect compare to a Mezraq? Anyone know?
Yep I wasnt exaggerating. Hes the reason why I think pretty much all wars are gimp. And I guess I'm the reason why my ls thought all other thieves besides should be TH whores instead of DD's.Originally Posted by NynJa

1.7k is pretty far from 2k, that's the difference of a DA or two, on top of that 1.7k is damn near all 6 hits critting and possibly a DA on top of that. And no, I'm not talking out of my ass because I have basically everything a WAR could ask for and meritted.
^ What he said, scoring an average of 1k on rampage is pushing it too. You might notice more high's than low's but keeping a 1k+ average is pretty much being pumped full of attack from every angle, especially on trolls.
I agree....1k Rampage average sounds like 2 bards, meat (with double min, double mad)...and lots of double attack and crits...Originally Posted by Ryko
Seems unlikely on a mob like trolls...
850ish average seems more like normal/reasonable...
well I looked back on a couple merit parses when I was with wars, and none of em averaged 1k, not even close.
I seriously think you were talking out your ass.
Well he parsed the party to find out the WS averages, Got the parses saved so we can see the data?
Doesn't sound like there were any parsers involved to me.

A war who average 1000 on rampage is a liar, it's the only thing I can say.Only place where I could believe it is caedeavra mire on imp and jhun, but everywhere else, it's just not possible (maybe 2 brd on puks?)
I'm generally glad when I average 800-850 in xp pt. Even with better gears, there is no way I would pump another 150dmg.
1k average is doable on Dweps also but like, barely. I kept it up for about 2 hours or so, using my 2 hour twice. After that it just dropped to about 940ish
In Thicket's at Mamool camp a WAR can average 1K with Man/Jugg in a 2 BRD party with Red Curry fairly easily but with Man/Ridill best I could get there was 980ish in same conditions and my gear is fairly decent. I have no idea if Mire can produce better numbers, I never xp there but no way could I get a 1K average on trolls since Diamondhide would screw with any WS average unless you specifically were trying to avoid it for the parse at the cost of xp.
