In Thicket's at Mamool camp a WAR can average 1K with Man/Jugg in a 2 BRD party with Red Curry fairly easily but with Man/Ridill best I could get there was 980ish in same conditions and my gear is fairly decent. I have no idea if Mire can produce better numbers, I never xp there but no way could I get a 1K average on trolls since Diamondhide would screw with any WS average unless you specifically were trying to avoid it for the parse at the cost of xp.

Axe/Axe will give better ampages...

1000ish in thickets thats not at the north camp (By Jade Sepulcher) I wouldn't think....you deal with the higher evasion mamool their (inf. and lurker) and less puks...

Mire is LOL their is lots of Tough and low end VT...so ya higher ws on them is not hard to do...

Trolls have high defense and diamonhide..ya...that is gonna mess with a few ws

In regards to WAR WS average, once I'm out of class (macroeconomics = ) I'll check a few of my parses. I have to agree though that in most situations even the best WARs will typically average at around 800-950 (range is greatly dependent on buffs/support), and I'd like to think I'm using just about the best WS gear possible outside of maybe +2 STR from HQ heca. But, even using Axe/Rid I think I've broke a 1k average a few times (BRDx2 PT and meat).

EDIT: By meat I mean either curry or carbonara usually. Carbonara just because I always have it laying around and it stacks!

Just curious, when you guys are using meat at thickets camp (puks/mamool/skoffin), just what kind of accuracy numbers are you getting? Even with Madrigal the best WAR's I know of are parsing around 78-80% accuracy, even with full merits.

I know that Flash from Puks messes with acc%, but does it mess with it THAT much? Even when they do use meat, we've found it's much easier to maintain high chains with sushi/2x minuet/2x march than meat/2x march/minuet/madrigal. Possibly shift to march/2x madrigal/minuet?

I usually get around 77-78% with no Madrigal, and around 82%ish with 1 Madrigal.

Obfuscate is pretty fucking ridiculous, I don't think it's an Accuracy Down effect. I think it's more like

NumberOfTimesYouWillHitTheMobAfterObfuscate = NumberOfTimesYouWillHitTheMobBeforeObfuscate / 10

With Red Curry at Mammol Camp, we like to camp essentially right on top of the skoffins or just slightly to the east of it, I usually parse around 84-85% with 1 Madrigal. Single BRD parties I just use sushi since my acc drops a bit below 80% which is too much of a loss in acc for my personal preference.

Edit: Even with Sushi I will fall somewhere between 88 and 90% acc at best depending on how many Puks we pull. Their Flash is just ridiculous on your parsed accuracy.

Why not camp a bit more north toward the jade zone. Well who camps but you know what I mean. We usually just roam in between the Skoffins and the Jade zone. There are only like 2 -3 puks if I remember correctly. THe other 10 or so mobs are Mamool and Skoffin.

On my thf I was normally seeing low 80's (82-83 or so) and war's slightly higher (maybe 85). Thf mamool is taken care of by feint and puks taken care of by a single DE and about 5 sec of melee. If they happen to get off that gay flash move I'd pop off a TA or SA alone if necessary for a free 10tp and 500 or so dmg (SA and TA are guaranteed of course).

You really dont want to fight puks anyway, they dont give much exp, but if you're in a pinch a puk can keep the chain I guess. Thats usually about a 10 second kill and shorter if someone has tp stored comming up to it.

The previous few posts above mine spoke about acc so I didnt feel the need to clarify. That and it's quite absurd to avg in the 80s per swing with a 30 something dmg weapon on exp mobs. I'm sorry if I offended you by not being absolutely clear on something that was so obvious to everyone else who isnt looking for reason to start a flame war.

I've long since stoped meriting to actually get merit points since I've maxed every merit useful to thf long ago. I think I was done with all the new merits within a week or so ( I had 10 merits stored up). I merit for fun and fun only. I hear so many talking about 1 brd pts as if thats normal. Frankly, I pretty much dont feel like pt'ing without 2 brds or 1brd 1 cor combo. Or a few times (which were the most fun) grab a really good war and get 20k an hour with war, thf, brd, brd, cor, rdm combo. Try that out some time it's hella fun. Perhaps an extra brd and/or cor skewed the aforementioned wars numbers?

Oh and I cant remember ever getting madrigal ever (except perhaps when feint was down on a thf mamool). Why would anyone bother with that? Minuet x2 if only one brd. Or sometimes minuet/march if someone is begging for it. usually its minuetx2+marchx2.

Also 90% of the things I write are shit? Please show me 10 posts where 9 were completely off base. The only thing that has been questioned has nothing to do with a job I actually play. It was my observations on another player on another job. Reason for me to lie about that? Not sure what I'd gain via internet epeen but do tell. I looked for a parse on trolls but couldnt find one that I saved. Probably because he totally raped me being hes the best DD I've ever seen by a fair margin and it hurt my epeen. I did find another war friend I pt'd with a lot who was very close to the first guy and he avg'd 960 or so per ws. Perhaps my initial statement was wrong but there is no doubt in my mind he avg at least as much as that war.
