I really don't think the end game community asks that much from SE but adding an HNM that is of fafnir quality, fixing sky(making everything popped from a pop item), fix the jobs they said they would at fan festival and tweaking salvage a little.

Why bother with a new HNM? Just fucking fix the loot pool on mobs like lolHydra.

Because long-spawn world-spawn SHOULD have shit all for loot. If I wanted a game I'm forced to play at 4am in order to get drops I'd play something Korean. Making their retarded 3-5 day world spawn mobs have a very shallow or non-existant loot pool is one of the end-game things SE got right, even if just accidently. The game doesn't need more king camps.

Yeah, I admit it's plenty retarded to post here after I quit the game, but I still have friends who play the game so it's interesting to see what they will be facing in future updates.

I second this. Its cute SE says in multiple interviews that they do not like hajin(sp?, that which has no life) gameplay yet they created the kings and refuse to do anything about it. The king gameplay aspect of FFXI is simply unhealthy and stupid. The 10-15min fight is fun, but the 3hr 7th fucking window part isnt fun at all.

I stopped playing because I got bored, but I've been keeping the service up just in case I got the urge to play more, and I decided to go ahead and wait for the next patch to see if something sparked an interest in playing more.

As I'm leveling PUP as my second job to 75, I can say that I really want B- or B+ in H2H skill. Not A+, not this "BUT YOU GOTZ TO ADD PUPPET AND MASTER DAMAGE THEN YOU OUTDD WARS" crap... I just want to be equal or better than a WHM at DDing while my automaton does most of my damage. Something in the middle which sounds like a PUP to me. Their merits should be Puppet focused yeah, but if you could get Martial Art traits I wouldn't complain.

And for the love of god, why Hope Staff? Its not like they could have pulled that Knuckles excuse.

Yea, I think when people start to level PUP they see a lot of little things that would for the most part "fix" what's wrong. The Activate timer in particular I want shot down to 10 min or better without merits (having the timer at 20 is ridiculous, a puppet has the defense of a wet noodle against most HNM aoe, and PUP is next to worthless without a puppet endgame), a skill boost to the Automatons, a pair of PUP-only Santi to rival Destroyers in usefulness (some Automaton boost worth mentioning, Automaton: Double Attack would be great), a nice new set of puppet WSes to make Light and Dark with, and a few more notable HNM drops (I don't care what, armor, attachments, whatever, PUP really has nothing from HNM right now if you don't count Salvage or Hades). I don't really expect the T2 merits to be miraculous, nor do I think we need T2 merits to work on most of the things I mentioned. I liked the topic more before the retarded derail though.

Fact: PUP becomes "lol" level 60 and higher, the level where combat skills start to really split. I mean, if that isn't enough proof, then I don't know what is. Every job should be able to unlock one WS with a weapon, that is like part of the whole growing process of a player, it has to be here. That's like saying PUP shouldn't do Genkei 5. It's stupid ;/.

Lets be honest, I said wtf when they annouced PUP as a job. I mean call it what you want, I knew from day one that pup was going to be laughed at and be called lolpup. SE probably only released pup to somehow fix alexander into the story and added it for the "cute" factor for twisted-fuckedup-jp.

PUP shouldn't get Asuran. It would do terrible damage regardless, since PUP is severely lacking in the two things that make Asuran Fists do good damage, Accuracy and Attack. If there has to be a quested WS, make one for the Valoredge frame.

Giving PUP normal melee gear and weapon selection or bumping up the Automaton's skillcaps would do more for PUP than giving them Asuran.

I agree Asuran should stay exclusive to MNK. However, PUP is still the only job in the whole game with no quested WS. This needs to be fixed and SE is hopefully saving something unique to fill this gap in the job.

Gear is a whole different story, it's like SE doesn't even know what they want to do with us. They excluded us from Eastern gear and gave us Cloth/Tunic. Now they give us Usukane? I dunno...

Hades Sainti are awesome but I'd like more weapons like Adaman Sainti. If the HP bonus wasn't so pitiful, the Gem Sainti would be a nice option 19dmg 49dly and +3 acc. How about Sainti that give the robot your food effect while equipped? Or a skillchain dmg bonus when chaining with the Automaton?

I'm sure we're all looking towards AF2 to add some interesting new bonuses.
