Full ally my ls can bring him down in 10-12mins. Fastest Fafnir we ever did was when we got it uncontested was 9mins, we cleared out the darters before window. We had a skillchain with like 5blms casting thundaga III for over 2kdmg MB's that dropped his life by 20% per mb. Fastest nid kill was in like 18-19mins with 2 sam sc pumping out sc's faster than blms had mp to use. This was way before the magic reduction on HNM patch though.

Our first nidhogg was a 45 minute time attack till server down the day the rage timer got put back in but our faf fights leading up to that week went anywhere between 40 and 120 minutes >_>

Nowadays we can drop it in sub 15 with a full alliance easy. Last week we dropped it in 8 minutes and 40 seconds with only 1 BLM, no ridill WARs, no Monks, and No Kraken DRKs. It could have easily gone faster too, none of the samurais got to use their 2 hours and 1 LDed for a good 60% of the fight.

Interesting that the person making fun of gear choices is the same one who uses Koenig Schaller on /NIN?.

I see BR trying to compare themselves to other Linkshells, and one time said they were better than KI2, until Azzie came onto the thread and smacked their collective dicks in the dirt. It'd be wise to remember that the best don't need to go around trying to prove they are better, they just are.

Admittedly, I don't camp Kings as much as you may; I literally do not have the time with my career to be up at different hours of the night. Its no big deal though, we have a Ridill in my LS. My LS does more than enough of its own without needing to be "on the front lines".

As far as Azzie goes, I wouldn't know; I was not a dear friend of his.

If you had reading comprehension you'd understand that my initial post stated that in another thread quite some time ago when some BR hack was acting as though they were shitting Tiffany cufflinks in FFXI that they really weren't anything special. I don't need to go down the age old road of your Linkshell's history because most people here probably don't give a shit anyways; but you and I know it just the same. Tell me, did you cry a little inside when you saw Hauteclaire released not less than 2 months after you obtained your excalibur? I'm sure you have heard this in the past, but you must be a fool for choosing sword over shield, especially for a main PLD. But then again, to each his own I suppose; I'm not knocking the accomplishment of sword, but I am curious as to know why you would choose it given the upgrades to shield over the past year.

I'm sure that you'll come back and say "but you've not done nearly as much as BR has". Sure, we haven't; we don't ask random SMN to come to Wyrm Kills, we don't teamup with other LS to get things done, we don't need to MPK or steal claims either, we do them as a Linkshell.

FYI if your such a BG forum troll you would have read the multiple posts Ive made concerning why I went shield over sword. My efforts took full swing right when BG themselves were making their first sword. Not much at all known about the shield when I started and my relic took momentum. About your Hauteclair comment. Its cute that u comment over me having a *Kaiser Schaller on as pld/nin and then you turn around and comment about what can be argued as a bloodtanking sword over Excalibur as pld/nin. Should have recorded my Dorodo sushi adventure last night. Tanking w/o taking dmg and putting numbers on the board @ Fafnir.

I was killing Fafnir/Nidhogg with KI and NegurA while the entirety of Sylph's current end-game was levelling their subjobs in Valkurm.

(And this is purely from a neutral perspective, I don't play FFXI anymore, and don't really care about drama between guilds on my old server.)

It's a different story now, Budd. Old NergurA was really good at what they did, but they haven't been old NergurA since before you quit.
