Like 5 years old I know, but it's been bothering me for months: is Matt Damon's character supposed to be Rusty's (Brad Pitt's) son? Someone told me that and I just never believed them, or ever caught that part of the film out of the dozen times I've watched it.

no, from what i remember his father was an old "collegue" of Pitt and Clooney, they were looking for him to be on the team but he was either dead or retired.

The mom springs them out of jail, I believe he says somthing though about the mom and dad getting him out of trouble though like, he wishes they wouldn't keep doing it or something.

Yea you just see his mom but she says something about telling his dad and he gets upset b/c he says his dad will give him a hard time about it. Therefore Brad Pitts character wouldn't be his dad b/c he would have already known what was going on.

Alright, that's what I thought. I knew Rusty couldn't be Damon's dad, wtf, thanks everyone.

I have to admit that as mediocre as the second movie was, I'm really looking forward to the third one.

The screened the 3rd at a film festival and it reviewed horribly. Said they had to reshoot a lot of scenes. Im a big fan of the first 2 movies, so i hope this one doesn't end up sucking.
