Requesting AF question

Ok, so my GF reset her memories for SMN af (requesting boots for AF +1, while still having NQ) Does she have to do anything over again to be able to open the coffer? Or can she crack the coffer and be done with it? Thanks in advance ^^

You have to reclaim your AF weapon (and throw away the original, if you have it). From there on end, you can either quest for specific pieces of AF (flagging the quest on your job) or hunt down coffer AFs on your job.

By reclaim, do you mean you just talk to the quest giver and he'll give it to you again? Or entirely request it? Do you have to redo the AF in order (AF1 weapon -> AF2 -> Flag hands -> Coffers)?

You have to Redo the quests in order.

After I upgraded the bst AF legs, I tried to request the feet without dropping my previous feet and it wouldn't let finish the quest.

I don't think you actually have to flag the hands quest. I think you just have to have the level 52 AF quest started. I'm actually pretty sure you don't have to flag the hands quest, b/c I don't have the bard AF hands quest flagged and was able to request the bard legs.

I recently redid my RDM AF.
I didn't do the darkspark, but I got my AF3 hat.

Redo AF1 entirely.

Reopen Af2 - now you can do AF2 and coffers. Do not need to complete AF2 to do coffers.

Reopen hands only to do hands.

Some Af3's require completion of AF2 (ie, rdm hat) as they are pre-req quests for one another.
