Not many people care about the pro bowl since it isn't that 'exciting', due to some players not playing their 'best', but I still like to see which side's the best. AFC for this year

They aren't even broadcasting the ProBowl in HD
That is a HUGE FAIL!
Game is boring, most players are playing as if they are on Vacation (which is what they are doing there)
lolromo

game was soooo crap lol, it gets worse every year, and for good reason
you can't play good football (let alone entertaining) when every player on the field is playing with the mentality of "don't get hurt and don't be the guy that hurt someone(unless they're lolpunters)
speaking of which I hope Brees is ok
What the holy hell was Vince Young doing at the Pro Bowl? Why hasn't anyone figured out that he was fucking terrible this year? For Christ's sake, Joey Harrington was better, he just didn't have the good fortune to be handing the ball off to as good a RB.
What do you expect when you send them to Hawaii after their season is over? Should be moved to mid season and put a decent prize on the line to get them motivated to play. Oh and take it to different cities so its not a vacation in Hawaii.
Well unlike a stupid rule like whoever wins the All-star game, hosts the World Series, I figured games like this are supposed to be taken less seriously. Also, if they were to make the probowl.. "Whoever wins the probowl, hosts the superbowl next year" it would be stupid too, because the Superbowl is hardly ever in one of the team's home towns. That makes it a "neutral" turf, unlike the NBA and MLB where home field advantage in the World Series/Stanley Cup means something. One exception was the Seatle/Pittsburgh super-bowl where no one really cared about the Seahawks as long as the Bus got his ring. -.-
Palmer got MVP, I was happy.
I don't get why a team who has played better during the regular season should not be rewarded with home field advantage? You play better you get the rewards. Ignorning that point for a minute you still can award cash or prize to the team or player who puts on a good performance at the Pro-Bowl.
Rotate who gets to host it also so its not always a vacation in Hawaii.

I mean come on what did the guy really do anyway? He just came onto a 2-5 team and took them 7-2 the rest of the year. That's nothing. Travis Henry was just... bluffing the first few games, yeah that's it.
No matter what you do, people are not going to take the Pro Bowl seriously. People highly, highly underestimate what playing football at the highest level does to your body, let alone how incredibly well tuned and in sync the players are. These guys want to be World Champions, and nothing short of that is ever really going to matter.Originally Posted by Ushallbeasgods
Also, you simply cannot take a team of even the absolute best players ever to play the game, put them on a football field with a week of practice together, and expect a performance on par with teams of lesser players who've played together nearly every day for a year maybe more.
Lastly, the winning team gets like $80k each, while the losers get like $45k. So there is... some kind of incentive. More than most people make in a year.
