I mean there are always gonna be trends, hell you play FFXI for fucks sake, trends/bandwagon is a given (from jobs, bcnm rapage, etc.)

I have long hair, (In College my hair reached all the way to the crack of my ass ><), got it cut, now there just longer than shoulder length

I color them to the preference I like (mostly Red Copper, Hot Tamale, Burgundy, or Crimson Blood)

If you really are pissed off @ other guys hair, and how it looks, why not start your own hair trend, you know you can rock the seagull look

I buzz my hair. I do it everytime my hair gets about 2-3 inches in length and I look like one of the Beetles. My dad buzzes his too, but he was in the military... guess he's a wife beater mexican wannabe for being in the military. Buzzing your hair is great for the work I do, when we get downtime we take naps... we don't wake up with bedhead. Win.

IMO the buzzcut has been a staple of male hairstyle since... buzzers... were invented, and probably will be as long as we have hair. I don't see anything wrong with it at all. I personally used to have longer than shoulder length hair, and now keep it just a little bit longer than a buzzcut, just long enough that it lays down flat instead of being like... fuzzy lol. I'd probably go to a full buzzcut but I have a pretty round head and look goofy as shit with one.

Oh ya and some chicks with buzzcuts can be hot as hell... others... not so much.

Quit complaining if you don't like it you have the option of ignoring it and zoning it out seriously! If a buzz cut doesn't look good on the person they will figure it out in the end and adjust accordingly! Seriously no one is going to go "Oh shi- he doesn't like my hair" and magically grow out of a buzz cut just for you! Shit doesn't go your way some times and you know what? You have to deal with it!

i worked in a mall for a year watching people go by all day, i can tell who does it on purpose and tell who wears what they wear so they aren't naked
