    Treo's

Anyone have any experience with these? From looking at other PDA ive come to the conclusion that Treo's are probably the best there is atm. Ill most likely be getting a 650 or 680, 750's cost too much and 700's dont support the GSM network.

Luckily the service here is great, I can get 1000mins and unlimited data for 60$ a month. Id be using it for cell phone usage of course, but also using it heavily for email. Has anyone ever used them with Exchange/Outlook 2003 and Yahoo? Also AIM and text? How about MS Office and mp3/movie support?

The cheapest ive seen the unlocked versions go for is about 200$ I hate using ebay so not sure if there are any other good sites that sell PDAs. If theyre not unlocked, thats fine, I can do that myself.

Check your carrier... Check Newegg.com (I don't know if they do phones). Check Certified Retailers (Usually they have them cheaper) and if they aren't cheaper than ebay then go for ebay. !

I had a 600 for over a year, and then left the job that supplied it for me. I loved the phone, it took care of everything and its email delivery was great and for people like me that are damn near retarded without having it written down its a neat thing to have it all there.

Also, the newer ones have touch screen that you can just draw on like typical non phone palm piolets. From what I've been told though you want the palm OS one not the windows OS.

I've used a variety of the Treo's and I simply think they are pieces of shit. In particular the 700 models, can't remember exactly. But it had a bad habit of wanting to enter a restart loop. Did that to me with two of the phones.

I used the Verizon Pocket PC XV6700 with no problems and now I'm using a Blackberry 7200 with the color display. Out of all three though, I have to say the Blackberry is just better over all in its simplicity and robustness. I have yet to have any real problems when it came to configuration, use or syncing of it.

I rely on email access 24/7 and I've yet to miss an email when I've used the blackberry, granted I'm using the Enterprise version. So can't really say what the reliability is using the home versions of the email client.

The restart thing thats funny, I went through 4 of em before I was able to get one that was stable. If I had to do it again I'd get either the blackberry or the 700p treo.
