Does it have to spawn in the three hour window or can it never get to double earth weather?

If King V has a true window, it's an exceptionally long one. He usually pops promptly after 21 hours if weather hits, but he's gone 35+ hours for us.

Interestingly, King A also goes over 24 hours sometimes, though I don't think he's ever gone over like 24:15 or 24:20 for us.

not 100% sure, but i think the only way it can spawn during earth weather is if it goes from 1 earth > 2 earth or 2 earth > 1 earth

Only thing i can add to this is that, if earth weather is up when the window opens, it can spawn.

Thats exactly what happened to us last time we camped, double earth weather was up as we approached the window, and stayed up fortunatley. As window opened, he popped immediatley. Whether this can only happen during double weather, and not single, i couldnt tell you though.

Nope, headed out there for the start of the window once, was nowhere to be found (Was even on RNG and Widescanning, so it's not possible he was just hiding in a corner or something). About 5 minutes later, he popped right in front of me during the same sandstorm.

As covered above, not really. He popped after 35 hours while a LS SAM was camping (Poor guy spent weeks out there and ran a screenshotting program when he wasn't able to be at his keyboard) despite numerous sandstorms and dust storms both during the 21-24 hour "window" and after.

yea, best way to explain it is 21 hours + weather dependant, camped once ended up leaving, ls member dc'ed during the camp came back and it was up... after alot of peeps logged off, lol. Had to of been about 30 hours.

what jobs are needed for holding it ?

I m leveling nin right now just for KV and have a rdm dual boxed

Do i need to be stuffed full eva ? or dmg taken - ? nin/war s the best ?

Killed it about 7 times in the past two or so weeks and we are 0/7 on the helm... so GL with that.

1 NIN and 1 RDM is fine for holding.

Thread derailment... are these pop conditions somewhat similar to Noble Mold. Can the Myoxemite (sp) only morph into Noble Mold when the weather changes during the window or if it is raining when the window opens he can still pop?

From what I noticed during my camps Noble Mold can pop anytime, doesn't have to be triggered by a weather change.
