I actually haven't been on "my MMORPG" for the past couple days for more than 10-20 minutes because I've been studying. Nice assumption though
edit: Mr. City my eco class that I got such a low score on is an online class.
My classes never get cancelled mainly because only like 5% of the students are commuters.. and I am one of them.. ~.~ Most everyone lives on campus. Yay for 1hr+ drives to school.
I went there for 1 year in Kindergarten!? Lower School ftwOriginally Posted by TsingTao

Our school offers a lot of online courses. I believe the average failure rate for these courses is 1/4 or 1/5. The statistic was mentioned, I know for a fact that it's not lower than 1/5. I think this is largely because it's harder to manage your time without a regular lecture slot ... and you're learning out of a book/off a computer. I'm a very visual learner, so I don't take any online courses except the mandatory online one for when we're on work term.
I wish my school offered online courses...
I know I'll NEVER take an online class again after this. You get lazy in keeping up with lectures, and atleast I am very ADD when it comes to watching things, especially on my computer when I have two monitors. It's hard to concentrate when you're not in a class and pretty much forced to pay attention to the lecture, no matter how boring it is.Originally Posted by Alathar
I homeschooled myself for 2 years so I thought it'd be easy to take an online class since I had taken them before, but they weren't like...watching lectures before. Just taking notes and turning in assignments.
But yeah, I'd never ever take an online class again. Atleast not one that's for a grade.
See, I think it'd be perfect for me because I never go to lecture anyways.. can't stand that shit. Do much better when I just read the book the morning of the exam.
If you don't go to lecture, I don't see how you'd want to watch the lecture either.
I tried the online class thing, doesn't work for me. Having a schedule of classes that I need to be at works much better.
A lot of the reason for not going to lecture is because I think every professor is a pedantic asshole.. Not to mention I'm really lazy and dont want to go to and from my appt to class 5 times a day. Yeah, mostly the lazy thing.Originally Posted by Lbelle
