There was a profile posted of a very old BST. Lungo-Nango, he was a leader in the Windurst military who later became kinda scorned.
No mention of him in the East Lands.
The version of that on the BST relic jacket looks much different from the flag. I also doubt they thought 3-4 years or whatever in advance for the specific image of a flag.
I also remember someone on FFXIclopedia mentioning that SE stole the Aht Urhgan flag from something, so maybe that's worth mentioning.
It is still very similar. See the marks in the lower left and right corner of the BST symbol? Imagine following the snake head down to the corner, then follow those marks as they angle outward again and curve back, continuing along the arch in the middle and then to the mark in the other corner as it bends in again and then up the other snake head. So it still has the same curves and twists the same way as the Aht Urhgan symbol.

The summoner bracers have a similiar symbol as well.
not to mention that the BLU spell icon has the same shape and both jobs manipulate either with monsters directly or the spells/abilitys of them.Originally Posted by Khamsin
anyone remember the Pic SE show us about the different step they will make in ToA Expansion going ?
Like when are we getting the Sky, Sea or ToA ?
im guessing you mean that year layout they had when they released the expansion earlier this year. They already said that they are behind on a variety of things they showed on that. Chocobo racing and the colleseum should have been released already
another thing about that pic is that it only showed the plan up till Dec last year.. everything past that.. we have no clue..
theres been so many delays tho.. its entirely possible they will scrap certain plans and then change it into other things using existing dats
Do you still remember where is that map Aerin ?Originally Posted by Aerin

The Windurstian Empire should of been 500 years long(instead of 200 or 300), the San d'Orian Empire 700-1000 years long(instead of like 300 or 500), and Bastok is alright the way it is.
I wish our Characters get older
OLD TARU FTW!
so like an Old Tank cant run that fast no more for kiting![]()
I was thinking something similar earlier. For some reason 10,000 years seem too short for me (for the whole Zilart->Present thing).Originally Posted by BRP
Also, in regards to one of the Yve'noile quotes I posted several pages back: "Over the centuries, that energy accumulated inside the bodies of the living beings on this planet, causing them to crystallize. Thus they took the form of the crystals that are found throughout Vana'diel." Does "them" in "causing them to crystallize." mean the energy of the living beings? I will also try to post some CoP dialogue in Windurst Woods regarding the mothercrystals/Emptiness/sleeping gods/Bahamut/Zilart later.
The Zilart/ect should of happened like 100,000 or 50,000 years ago, leaving the current races pretty much too stupid to remember anything. The Kuluu seemed to be around for a long time after the Meltdown, so if the last of them taught the Taru's magic, it makes sense.
New mobs need to be introduced.
I'm tired of dragons honestly.
We need more myth creatures that hit hard, cast AoE spells, strip Utsusemi, and drop terrible loot.
BUT
Have an amazing title like "Assraper Anarchist" or something.
Tarus have short lifespans, though, only about 40 years according to the latest "Life in Vana'diel", unless that particular taru met with an untimely death. However, looking at other taru lifespans in the stories, I seem to recall none living all that long... And yet, it seems like much fewer generations have passed since those days, so the compacted timeline does make some sense in that regard.Originally Posted by BRP

Yeah, Tarutaru's lifespans have been brought up before. I mean, I hate asking SE lore questions as much as the next guy, but this is something I'd really like to know. Tarutarus seem to die a lot, so we can't know for sure.
Pretty much, all we are certain on is that Humes live normal lifespans and Galka live 3 to 4 times that.
That they do.Originally Posted by BRP
