I've always wondered if you could throw sky winds at normal mobs and if you can does is do good damage?

Yes, and at people in ballista, which is hilarious if they don't see it coming.Originally Posted by Knightmare

Yes you can.
Soboro is believed to be one of the weapons for meriting. So I guess the answer yesOriginally Posted by Denchi

Soboro is fine until Hagun, which is at (72?) or 73. Hagun will then outparse Soboro due to YGK's fancy high TPmods and Hagun's high DPS/base damage. That being said, I have seen 75 SAMs in merit outparsing Hagun SAMs with 6 hit setups. A WS every 2-3 rounds on average is a little bit insane.

To my knowledge spring water and stona are the only thing that can remove petrify.
This is correct.Originally Posted by Heie

particularly, pre 2h update (when the fTP mods were 1.5 2.0 2.5) hagun and soboro parsed about evenly with 6 hit setups.
post 2h update (when fTP mods are 1.75 2.0 2.5) soboro has seen both an fTP boost *and* a cRatio boost, while hagun has seen only a cRatio boost.
arguably, the cRatio boost affected hagun more, but let's look at the numbers: str 110 vs vit 70 mobs, is a dstr of 40, which will give a fstr of about 11. the cap for soboro is 12 (40/9 + 8) the cap for hagun is 16 (75/9 + 8). soboro swings an average of 1.9 times a round (more or less) hagun swings an average of 1.15 times a round (assuming /war and brutal earring)
hagun will apply 86 * 1.1 * pdif per round, and soboro will apply 51 * 1.9 * pdif per round.
86 * 1.1 = 94.6 (this is in units of D per round)
51 * 1.9 = 96.9
-and- soboro is doing many more weaponskills (1.9 vs. 1.1 at 1.75 vs. 2.0 ) so you're looking at
~185 * 1.1 * 2.0 = 407 (units of D*fTP per ws)
~151 * 1.9 * 1.75 = 502
if you can exceed +44 str vs your target (which will happen in the 120-130 strength range) the gap starts to close, since you'll have capped fstr on soboro, but not on hagun; but generally speaking, soboro is *highly* competitive with hagun damagewise.

To get to the Mine Shaft for Bionic Bug ENM, I don't really understand how the furnaces and levers work in new/oldton movalopolos. How do you go about getting there?

The bridge in Oldton which needs to be raised to let you through to the main road of Newton leading to the BC has three switches. One is right at the bridge, the second is at entrance 2 on that map and third is at entrance 4. You enter at 1 and 6 respectively, and the blue/red lines are the gates, which can be rotated by trading a firesand to the nearest furnace hatch. If the blue line on the south marks that path, the person at the north will have to rotate the gate for the person at the south to pass. The north person will then be locked on their side, so the person at the south will have to trade to let them through as well. When you finish the bridge and get to the main path, if the far east gate is the blue line path you will need to rotate it and obviously enter from the south side as opposed to the north.
Not sure if this work for ENM... but I warp there for 2k by using gobblins. I won the 10k bet thingy and never did the lv 60 cap ENM, and everytime I go to the ENM place (to get to newton) I just pay that goblin 2k.Originally Posted by zagex
No, you cannot.
After trading in a Sylvan Stone for the ENM Bionic Bug, you receive a key item for the fight. If you use any mean of teleportation to mine shaft (gambling with the gob, or trading a snow lily to another goblin in oldton) you lose this key item, and can't access to the fight.
I am getting a big frustated with g.axe and getting 98-99tp all the time, cuz i dont have rajas (tamas), if Perdu Voulge is 13.7% tp per hit, means that with brutal+rajas would be 14.3%?, so if i land all my hits on RR, 14.3%x6=85.8+15tp from ws, would give me 100 tp, right?
In ye olde days, sure...
Now every hit on a WS other than first hit gives 1% tp back.
No store TP, 13.7, 8 hits to 109.6, 95.9 in 7, +2 from Raging Rush for 97(to 99 with doubles).
+6 Rajas/Brutal, 14.3, 100.1 I believe in 7 hits.
Options: Askar Body, Carbonara (and whatnot), with Brutal will take care of you.
Secret Option: Samurai Sub, which puts you at 7 hit default, 6 hit with Rajas/Brutal/Chiv.
