How come more paladins don't use darksteel harnesses? It looks like a good piece of gear if you don't have endgame gear. Just my opinion but if hate isn't a concern to you I don't see how this wouldn't be better than AF1 assuming its a straight tanked mob and assuming your /war.

edit: now that i think about it the darksteel +1 hat doesnt look too shaby either

First thought that came to mind is "no emnity". I find myself really noticing differences in emnity now that i'm using pld for endgame activities, and i'm really noticing not having baha mask/aegis hat compared to the other plds i'm with.

Stuff i'd want to wear that to reduce dmg, i'd /nin anyway.

dinged 75 on whm, have af+1 upgrade mats sitting in locker, what do i upgrade first, hands or head?

Greater chance of an 8-hit vorpal with Justice in main hand. but greater damage overall on Vorpal with Joy in main-hand. Apart from that no real difference between main or off-handing them as far as I know.

Justice Sword will not, under any circumstances, have any affect on the number of swings Vorpal Blade does, nor will any multi-hit weapon. Ever.

Other than that, it doesn't matter which you main-hand or off-hand, but don't you think Justice/Joyeuse looks cooler? (I do. )

8-hits Vorpals are not contemplated by the gameplay unless I've mistakenly interpreted my swords TP return all along, AFAIK you shouldn't be allowed to pull off more than 7 hits (4 base +1 from DW + 2 DA, one for each hand). Besides, since when Virtue weapons A. proc during weapon skills and B. would enhance your DA rate while performing the aforementioned WS's if main handed? Am I getting woosh'd, has it been tested elsewhere and I subsequently managed to miss the memo or what.
