I'm not sure if this saves to the server exactly, but there is some sort of save thing you can do on the player select screen:

Macros, map markers, and other configuration files can now be saved to PlayOnline. There are four slots (one slot for one character) where data can be saved.
-To save data, press [L1+L3] or [Shift+Alt+Ctrl+B] at the character select screen. Use the directional buttons to select a slot to save the data to.
-To load data, press [R1+R3] or [Shif+Alt+Ctrl+R] at the character select screen. Use the directional buttons to select a slot to load the data from.
-To erase data, press [R2+L2+R3+L3] or [Shift+Alt+Ctrl+D] at the character select screen. Use the directional buttons to select a slot to delete the data from.

only where they currently are. if you spam the map you can look for the sword icon appearing, which indicates an area is just starting campaign.

We've killed him 15 times as a shell - one drop, someone lotted instead of passed (doesn't have WHM, doesn't want WHM, dropped it...) and he won't put out.

Honestly, just stay in Jugner/Meriphataud/Rolanberry. There seems to be more campaigns there than the other zones (from my experience, at least), and it's a lot less stressful than zone-hopping. Also nice to be there from beginning to end as opposing to teleing to a zone only to find out it ends as soon as you get your tags or shortly after.

Ask a swede, dane, norweigian or icelander to say it and you'd have pretty close to the correct pronounciation, this since it comes from old norse and those languages match old norse pronounciation pretty decently to this day (icelandic has barely changed much at all since it was still Norse).

I stay in Garlaige Citadel myself, prefer the battles, and I can kick the ass of any lesser yagudo, and there are generally 4 or 5 people, so we all kind of know each other, and just stay out of each others way usually.

I wish to hell I had known this simple thing about that fight.

Eseal > Sleepga will keep the pots slept, so if you have a less than ideal setup, have someone sub Blm (did it with a Bst once, if he had gone /Blm we could have slept the pots at first with him, and made up for only having a single Blm) and any Whm or Rdm do the same, burn their Eseal Sleeps to get the first two pots zerged, try to get as much on the next pot as possible with any other sleepga.

Die at the far side, RR, zerg zerg zerg.

Beat it first time with three War's busting out Steel Cyclones with 2hrs and WC.

The first Zdei went "WTFDOODS?!?!" and died.

That was back when you could get TP before the fight though. >.<

/BLM is indeed excellent for 8-3. Our only sleepers were a BST/BLM and a WHM/BLM, and we killed 3.5 pots before we wiped. We did have a BRD and a MNK, which helped a lot.

That saves them locally, not server-side. It's a way to get 4x the macros or specific map markers of normal, but it's not a way to save them in case you're reinstalling or trying to go from console to pc, or vice versa.

I couldnt help but pronounce it like Ri-dill from how its spelled, thats why this was a question lol. Oh well i guess ill have to get used to saying Riddle
