How much damage does the phalanx absorb?

How does blue magic skill affect physical blue magic? Also, what kind of nerf does /BLU feel for physical blue magic?

1. Increases the base damage of the spells, but nearly all spells except the 70+ ones have a base damage cap relative to the level they can be casted. It is somehow calculated as the attack rating for physical magic as well, but the calculation doesn't seem to be known. Additional effects also effected by skill(or just nerfed while subbed), for example, stun proc from headbutt at 75 is much worse on a /blu than a blu main.

2. Add effect proc rate is much lower and damage is worse. The accuracy is fine thou, since it's dependent on your mainhand weapon's accuracy.

I imagine /blu might be good on just about anything if you want to diversify damage types by getting bludgeon access. Bludgeon's damage will already be capped by 37 or so purely from blue magic skill.

My WAR is almost 72 at that lvl i get dusk feet/hands from my PLD, currently i'm wearing Thick hands and AF boots should i swap to dusk or keep it like this?

Why are the Qutrub in Mire called Lamia Idolaters?

Does Storm Fife and other items with "Assault:" in their descriptions work in Salvage/Einherjar?

An Idolater can be defined as one who blindly or excessively admires or adores another. There's a quest where you see how Qutrub come to be, which would explain why they excessively admire/adore Lamia.

As for your 2nd question, no, but they do work in Nyzul Isle, as that is an Assault.

Salvage yes, Einherjar no. Not entirely surprising, as Salvage uses the assault entry method and Einherjar doesn't.

1) Does haste makes ranged attacks shoot faster? what about rng automaton? I'm assuming if it works with PC, than it'd work with automatons?

2) Is sam/rng any good for any HNM scene? With the proper gears&merits, what's the normal sidewinder damage?

So I just did WAR ENM60. I used an Icarus Wing and got 101% tp. I had a Bushido Cape on. Does Store TP affect TP gain from wings?

1) No, and since it doesn't work with PC it won't work with an Automaton.
2) Sam/Rng may be good, depends on which HNM, usually lower level HNM's(like Simurgh). On higher level HNM(Sky/Gods) Sam/Thf blows everything else out of the water.
