Can qutrub lose their second blade? I know they alternate between H2H and their sheathed blade after the first blade is broken, but I don't think I've ever seen the sheathed one broken. Sorry if this has already been answered.

Yes, you can break both, leaving them unable to use spinal cleave if you were trying to learn it.Originally Posted by Sagacious Sundi

Are you able to zone the balls while someone else kites fortitude (that person not being in the same party) such that the balls lose all aggro?Originally Posted by Shuemue

Never seen anyone try. Would be pretty handy if you could. Torques for all!
I don't remember seeing this on my read-through of this threa (Though my memory's horrible, it might be there >_>)
Do the fomor in ToAU areas add to your fomor hate? Also I'm pretty sure the ones that are in Misareux Coast build hate as well, but I'm not certain. It'd be nice of those were alternatives to building hate for Swift Belts as opposed to always going out for subligar raids ._.
Pretty sure ToA Fomors (Fomors in Bhaf/Waja, Fallen XXX, Ephramadian Shade, Ashu Talif Crew/Marine, etc.) are unrelated to Fomor hate. (Really wouldn't make much sense either.) However, all Fomors in Tavnazia (Lufaise, Misa., Phom., Sac., there's a quest NM in Riverne I think but I'm not sure if NMs add to your hate) add to your hate. I got a lot of my Fomor hate from Lufaise Fomors (trying to get the damn file).
They don't, however the ToAU ones aggro to job abilities.
That also brings me to another question: mobs that aggro JA/PCs (flan, ToA Fomors, and flayers come to mind) also aggro WSs? Or are the 2 treated as different types of aggro? Also, is ability aggro exclusive to Eph./Ashu Talif Fomors (I think it is, but not too sure) or do Waja/Bhaf/Fallen Fomors also aggro that?
The ones in woodlands and thickets do as well, idk about aggroing WS.
Here is a question that has been bothering me.
Specifically for NIN, is giving up haste for accuracy just so you can eat meat worth it? I highly doubt this, but the new "trend" is to claim that if you are using Senj that you should be using meat and cutting haste for accuracy. This seems contradictory everything I have seen about haste, where Sushi and Haste is better than Meat and Accuracy. Thoughts specifically for a Senj main hand Ninja?

Was answered already, but every spell has the same casting time for him (as fast as stun). There is a small delay after where he wont move like any spell caster. If you want to stun lock him, just spam threnody, or something cheap and weakOriginally Posted by BRP
The best, and by far easiest strategy, is to pull Fort and both Qn'Ghrah at the palace entrance and zone. Because both pets are caster, they should be far behind Fort when everything unagro. After that, simply have someone pick up Fortitude and pull it to the central elevator or Galka/TT tower without linking it with Qn'Ghrah. The rest of the fight is a joke, since spell will lock him, and you can absorb everything with /nin (thunder4 = 5% dmg). Can be duoed/Trio'd that way.
If someone voke Fortitude when the balls are still around, he should normally get hate on the balls. Not saying it would never works, because shared hate act strangely at time, but it wouldnt be reliableI don't know about this, the hate is somewhat linked.
Ohhhh spell lock, that sounds like something awesome to try.
Has anyone done it before?
Our brd always spam threno when we low man it. If both BLM are subbing nin, there is no reason for them to ever get hit by anything other than spell reflect. Spamming threnody on brd is similar to stunning an NM for 1 sec every 5sec, make the fight much easier.
But you don't really need that, 2 BLM/NIN(no Herald) that pay attention could duo it kiting and casting thunder at the right time (nuke when he is far, not in vorpal blade range). Rdm/nin could bio kill it as well, but that would be boring (it has something like 20k hp). Blm/nin + rdm/nin it easily too, rdm/nin should be able to land spell with nuking gear.
For BLU casting, the AF body > everything?? I just got LV58 and I'm unsure whether to cast spells with SH+1 or AF body.
