often when I level up on thf and fight the same mobs, I tend to notice my SATA damage tends to go down.
my sneak attack at lv55 could hit 309 fairly often vs lesser colibri, now at lv58 they don't hit 300 as much and tend to hover around 250, the average for 55 was around 275.
It's been noticeable to me for awhile, and I can't understand it, as my stats and attack get higher, food and brd support stays the same.
idk maybe someone has some insight on this, or maybe it's just odd luck, idk
Mobs have different levels?![]()
Yes, for example as a level 73 BLM soloing King Apkallu* some of them check as IT and some of them check as VT, also they give different experience points when killed. Also the IT ones resist the nukes/enfeebles (obviously) more.

I spell lock JoFort for fun sometimes on RDM. I don't low man it, but I definitely see how it would be ridiculously easy low manned with the right people.Originally Posted by BRP

basically: add healing magic skill and mind where you can get it (most of the good pieces do both) but it's not like curing much over 800 is going to be critical anyway.

someone did some rather exhaustive testing a while ago. while it's not perfect (never is) the thread indicated it wasn't that far off iirc.
Recently, the horrible news that Katana WS don't get an additional offhand hit was brought upon me. Is this true?![]()
This is not true.Originally Posted by Sendra

has anyone ever done any conclusive tests of diabolos's pole vs pluto's staff in dynamis? my experience says to stick with pluto, but i'm curious if someone's got some hard evidence one way or the other.
In an old thread in Advanced someone posted screenshots of Aspir in Dynamis using Diabolos Pole which would be mathematically impossible with Pluto's. However, I don't think it was ever determined how the bonus from pole factored in to achieve that higher value, nor which weapon would provide higher drains/aspirs on average.
was partied at the leypoint fighting lesser colibri they range only 2 levels, and my average SAs I guage off both levels not just one, obviously my SAs do more on the lower level colibri, but after leveling up my average vs both levels of colibri went down.Originally Posted by Tradition

If you were to compare him to another NM in terms of challenge, numbers needed, etc... what "tier" would he be?
Is it true he is weakened by other NMs being dead? Is he also effected by mirrors?
Tons of equipabble items allow the consumption of raw fish, but are they any that allow you to eat raw meat?
Nope :\
