What is the level difference for learning Blue Mage spells? 10 levels?
Does it change at 50+? >_>

I think it changes at 60ish.. from around 10 levels to around 6? Not 100% sure on that.
I just spent about four hours of my life in the room immediately to the west of the main lobby of palace in sea and have nothing to show for it but sub-par exp and a single NQ aern organ. This is with a 75 and a 73 BLM consistanly clearing the room. Do these not drop HQ aern organs? Is it just a retarded drop rate, or were we really unlucky? Would we be better off doing them as rdm+thf? plz halp :(
edit: godammit one dropped 3 minutes later ~_~ is 1 HQ/10k exp normal?
For a solo BLM, consider yourself lucky. I soloed 60k xp there (aka I filled my buffer from empty, dropped 20k, and refilled my buffer), and did not get ONE SINGLE HQ.Originally Posted by Fingerspitz
1hq/10k exp is very lucky lucky indeed. I used to 2 box another blm and i would sub thf. I spent like 2weeks or so there farming the organ for 2-3hrs perday.
I'm pretty sure it's related to your Blue magic skill. The amount of skill gained per level increases after lvl 50 (or 60?). Then the gap becomes 5 levels. From what I remember reading about the AF body on the wiki, I think the skill +15 can increase the learnable range by 3 levels. Regardless, it's a pain to learn a spell before actually being able to use it.Originally Posted by Rocl
No, you can download a torrent of a similar window version -i.e if you have a Home XP you should not download Professional- and when the computer asks for the files you can insert/mount that CD.Originally Posted by RKenshin
P.S. It may or may not work with a different version of XP (Home/Pro) as long as its the same version of Service Pack
Do Sea Obi's have any effect on enfeebles?
Sleep and Sleep II have constant durations, but would an Anrin Obi increase my chances of landing Sleep?
Dorin Obi increase Slows potency?
Your enfeebles would just be more accurate (eg Slow/Sleep has an easier time landing).Originally Posted by theo
Day and weather effects do not effect enfeebling potency.
Thanks. Thats the answer I was leaning towards but I wanted clarification.Originally Posted by Jeryhn
Since HQ organs were mentioned...
Does the drop rate on the cape go up for more organs used to pop Ix'MNK? Don't really give a shit about the Deed, and as already mentioned, the HQ drop rate is complete shit.
As far as I know, no. Deed drop rate seem to be the only thing that changeOriginally Posted by Xerlic
I fail at searching and i was wondering if anyone could gimme the link to the ninja tanking blog. It has a whole bunch of different tanking equip setups, like enmity, -phy dmg%, Fire resist for Bahamut etc. TYVM
I am assuming you mean this entry on rukenshin's lj. Prior entries have more info about fire resist setups on baha and tia if that was what you were looking for.Originally Posted by Lagunasa

Which bombs are you trying to learn from? I'm beginning to suspect that some mobs just aren't programmed to teach the spell (I mean ones that by all rights should, not just that red/blue shit for ToAU beastmen). Like I spent 3 hours killing cactuars in east altepa with no 1000 needles, then moved to west altepa and got it first mob. Or Frypan from the lowest-level moblins in Oldton wouldn't teach me, but I learned it quickly when I moved to the slightly higher-level ones. For what it's worth I learned self-destruct from the bombs in Gusgen.Originally Posted by Rocl

Because I brought this question up in my LS the other day, and I can find nowhere else to put it...
Has anyone seen any Elvaan F w/ an E. body? My shell can't think of any they've seen on Fenrir (when nid stops being an ass I'll be the first I've seen), and I'm just curious.
