What is "generally" better for a necklace. Those torques that are dropped from sea gods or peacockc charm?
I guess I am referring for TP build.
For STR use chiv. chain?

correct. bursting elegy does not increase the potency of slow, nor does bursting frost increase the DoT of it (i don't think at least...) on the other hand, if you happen to be having trouble sticking elegy and your melees happen to be making a darkness SC or something like that, bursting elegy can help a lot in sticking it. then again, if a mob is already eating an SC and an MB, there's probably not much of it left to be worth it. ^^Originally Posted by Amele
Can you use the registration codes from a 360 version to play on PC?

pDIF-wise , it's counted as 1h
fSTR-cap wise, it has its own category
fSTR-increment wise, it's counted as 1h
From what I remember hearing, hand-to-hand was originally going to allow people to equip two one-handed weapons. (Like dual wield, but only hand-to-hand weapons.) You would have delays based off of each weapon equipped, but damage increases as well. Some of the Dark Stalker mobs in Eldieme Necropolis and Fei'Yin have a single hand-to-hand weapon equipped. Yes. Accounts & registration codes are universal, but once you start using one region (NA, JP, or EU) you must get expansions to match that region.Originally Posted by fantasticdan
My chocobo is 1st class in both STR and END on day 50. What's the best way to learn skill now (if its not too late) and raise my discernment, without dropping STR/END?

Is the post I use when raising chocobos, not what you were looking for I know, but I'm almost pretty certain there is no care plan that raises discernment without lowering STR/END (unless you count Basic Care)
I read something somewhere on these forums about a zerg strategy called "100 GA", which I assume is a parody of Hundred Fists that uses greataxe. Assuming I read this correctly (I searched for the thread but couldn't find it, everything with "ga spell" and "100 percent" flooded me), and it's actually a real, tried, and true strategy, how does it work?
DRK/SAM with Maximum possible haste and delay reduction (93.3%) and Fortitude axe
I feel silly now, didn't even notice DRK could use Fort. I think I'm going to try this the next time my LS does DL, thanks!Originally Posted by diony
Edit: 'Nother question '3' Why DRK/SAM rather than DRK/WAR? Wouldn't DRK/WAR have the same attack speed, since a 10% DA rate is basically a 10% attack speed reduction, except /WAR would also offer Berzerk?

has anyone tried an extreme chr build for blu, for casting eyes on me? i've seen reference to people trying marginal ones, however the only numbers i've turned up were from a single post about fighting ouryu and the individual did not have a heavy chr build for it, nor did he explore the effect of MAB on it. with yigit gear, moldavite, memento mori, and uggly pendant, there's no end of MAB a blu can stack, and with gear like mahatma pants, chr is not hard either. does anyone know of a solid test on it that's already been conducted? having just dinged 61 last night, i've had no chance to experiment on my own, however i'd be more interested in the results a 75 blu could produce with proper gear on higher end targets (like ouryu or something in that category.) the post i found did mention that he saw no resists, which may have its uses on mobs i can't think of off the top of my head. perhaps i'm just overthinking things though.
