DRK 65 :
-Vassago's or swith to Darksteel Scythe.
-Stay with Mythril Grip+1 or go to Claymore Grip (too poor/cheap for Pole Strap atm)

I assume your logic works "This gorget with property x works on specific weapon skills iff the specific weapon skills have skillchain property containing x"Originally Posted by fantasticdan
Transfixion contains Transfixion. hence light gorget works.
Fusion contains Transfixion and liquefaction. hence both light and flame gorget works.
The exception is the L3 light property from relic WS;
Since Kaiten contains L3 light (liquefaction, transfixion, impaction, detonation), then the respective gorgets (flame, light, thunder, breeze gorget) should work on it right? It's not. Ruke test showed the otherwise. Consequently, light, thunder, and breeze gorget shouldn't work on Kaiten for its L3 SC property.
Thank you very much. I initially traded a Tachi and wondered why it would not work. Then I realized that it was not one of the seven tradeable great katanas, and an Uchigatana was accepted XD.Originally Posted by Evelyn
Kaiten has no liquefraction or fusion property, it can not close these weaponskills, so it's obvious flame gorget shouldn't work (and it doesn't.) However Kaiten closes light specifically, not through normal SC means(distortion to fusion), but by level 3 light -> level 3 light. I suppose it's possible SC didn't program gorgets to work with these dark or light properties, but that would be stupid on their part IMO.Originally Posted by VZX
get darksteel, even long before 2h buff this held true. the extra base dmg > 5accOriginally Posted by Baha

so there's no reason that flame wouldn't work, but light would. (light gorget is 'light' element, not 'light' SC)
Does anything effect the proc rate on Ice Spikes paralyze?
don't know if this is obvious or not, but level seems to be the only definite factor. Same or lower level mobs seem to get paralyzed a lot more.Originally Posted by Ohemgee
No conclusive testing, but I've always thought AF2 legs help.Originally Posted by Ohemgee
Isn't there some armor that enhances the effect of spikes spells. think it was a IS item?
Duelist's Tights.Originally Posted by shihei
Theres also the Mercenary's Trousers for 24k Imperial standing. And Duelist's Tights only affects spike damage, not proc rate.
Is there any way to trade more than one of an item to an NPC at the same time through macro/text, like /item <t> with single items.
Brother's just started and looking to help him bump up his fame early with millioncorn.
Is there anywhere with proof for this? I've noticed considerable more proc on para effect with ice spikes with duelist than with just without. Damage has always been either 6 or 7.Originally Posted by Malinn
Fairly certain Duelist Tights only affects Blaze spike damage, though I tested(read: messed around with) them a while agoOriginally Posted by Malinn
I was going to test it while running around getting KS's in Mire (aggroing Chigoes and letting them hit me).
Most likely INT is a factor, but could be Enhancing as well? MND is paralyze, but eh...
What would be better:
1)Chaos Roll/Hunter's Roll/March 2x
2)Chaos Roll/Hunter's Roll/Minuet/March
3)Chaos Roll/Fighter's Roll/Minuet/Madrigal
4)Other
Assuming the following : 2h Gaxe War, Ridill WAR, MNK well geared, RDM and they eat meat. Mamools mostly.
I've been thinking over this one for a bit here as I started meriting once again, I like choice #1 generally, but also like #2.
This is what I always thought as well. A reason why I never took them out of safe. I rather nuke in Mahatma with my Ele skill merits =/Originally Posted by Rocl
