Nice. I've only partied with Bongo once after his relic, and it was literally the day after he got it. Ingwe's WAR had him by like 4% then, but like I said, that was right after he got the Yoichi so I'm sure he's made some heavy improvements and adjustments to his build since then. Those parse results would probably be different now.Originally Posted by Ryko

Yeah we got 200k that day and he had gotten like another 300-400 before then so he capped overwhelm amongst some other things.
bongo's war could have done in ingwe too
Probably, Ridill ftw.Originally Posted by Freight

That and the fact that it's Ingwe.Originally Posted by Therin

If meditate is up im dropping a mob w/ a self 2 part light and a third namas to finish it off. GG. Also check the screenshot forum if you want to see what my RNG can do with this weapon. Sad thing is that my Namas' do more than your average RNG's Slugwinders. Go look for the pic then come back and try calling me "gimp"
And yeah I have learned a lot about the weapon since then. tweaked my set up a bit and upped my damage by a good 50% since that first day. The crazy thing is that my SAM/WAR is still far from ideally equipped. I can prolly up my avg WS output by another 100-200 damage or so.Nice. Does your average Namas do more than your average sidewinder? food isn't an issue, it takes less than 1 second to push Ctrl+0, which is macroed to

In the case of his samurai it's the choice between a zerked namas (you can sub whatever you want and keep the WS) or a non-zerked sidewinder (you have to sub RNG to get it). One hits practically all the time, has zilch for hate and gives you a RACC bonus on use, the other is notorious for whiffing and you pull hate when you connect. Granted RNG sub would give him racc but zerk is just overpowered.

But with /WAR I get DA for tp building, Zerk, warcry, a small attack bonus and hateless WS capabilities. Its a no brainer imo. And its more than one second if you count the time it takes to eat it and how it pauses yoru attack recast timer. Sure its miniscule but over the course of several hours it will add up =/
Not sure if you were making a separate statement or asking for clarification on what I said before on outdamaging RNG with namas on my RNG. If you wanted clarification, yes. My RNG/WAR will drop namas' that will do more damage than a Slugwinder from any run of the mill RNG. Hell Doshu on RNG/NIN can outdamage 90% of the RNG/WARs on our server with his Slugs and he doesnt even have zerk. It isnt beyond the realm of possibility to do what I am doing. Now if you pit my rng up against a pimped RNG. Then my namas is gonna look like shit compared to their output. They will also outburst damage me on my SAM/WAR. But as far as DPS goes it is really second to none if used by someone who isnt a dumbass.
Just now realized you were SAM main, lol. Kept thinking you were RNG main for some reason.
He's SAM, RNG, WAR, and NIN but in that case yeah SAM main.
RNG will alwyas be the job that I will identify myself with and still have a passion for. However, RNG is not suitable for all instances in FFXI and that is where my other jobs, namely my SAM, come in.Originally Posted by divisortheory
