That's because regardless of whether or not he is stealing jokes, the fact is that 99% of the people who post here just vomit back the crap they hear from other people.

They hear something, they see that a few "cool" people agree...and then proceed to build on each other's ignorance.

I have no clue if Dane Cook steals jokes or not...what I do know, is that there is a tendency for people to pretend they have a clue instead of actually investigating.

Not sure if anyone here is familiar with him, but Eddie Brill came to my college and did a stand up workshop on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. ~10 people in each workshop, I was in the Saturday slot and got to workshop five minutes of my material in front of him, it was an amazing experience.

We asked him lots of questions, Dane Cook being one of the topics that came up. Eddie said that Dane Cook is fairly notorious in the comedian ring for having stolen material, and not only that, he doesn't have any jokes. >_> There's no punch lines, he's just a goddamn actor. But Eddie brought up a good point, that Dane is sitting back counting his money and laughing regardless.

From what I remember he stole a couple jokes from Louis C.K., only ones I remember specifically is the "itchy asshole" joke and the joke where he witnesses someone get hit by a car but can't think of anything to say in time.

I like Carlos Mencia, Jack Black, AND Dane Cook. I don't watch the Mencia show or anything, but whenever I see him on t.v. while I'm flipping channels and he's on I lol. Jack Black has some really stupid movies, but alot are pretty funny.

And Dane Cook, I don't know, I think he's hilarious. Maybe he does steal people's shit, but they probably don't even tell their own jokes as funny as he makes them. Speak and Spell is the best. thing. ever. And like whoever it was said, he's an actor that's sitting back laughing at all his money, and probably getting his dick sucked by a new hot chick every night. Jealous??
