I'll be honest I find him very funny but those jokes that he stole weren't funny to me at all, he would be better off without them anyway.

I watch w/e makes me laugh, I don't really give a fuck if you were too busy making "tv money" like Joe Rogan said, or if the lame joke you just told was told by 5 other people who all copied the same crappy jokes from each other.

I've watched shows of alot of old-timers like Richard Pryor and Bill Cosby and Eddie Murphy and I never really found them funny much. I'm sure they were hilarious in their time but I found them pretty lame.
My older family members usually buy old tapes of them cause they laughed their ass off back in the day, but when they are watching it they almost never laugh, more like chuckle abit and that's pretty much it.

I'm honest enough with myself to watch legendary comedians from the past and not try to force myself to laugh just cause they are "legends" or w/e. Their stuff just doesn't relate to me and doesn't seem to be so legendary nowadays, sadly.

The greatest thing about Bill Cosby was he could deliver the best lines without being vulgar or swearing.

Not saying that vulgar humor isn't funny, because Pryor is the undisputed champion of comedy. But ya that bit about cake for breakfast leading into his wifes conniption fit is just pure gold.

I've written stand-up bits before, some of which I think could be pretty funny, but man...standing up in front of a crowd like that...so exposed. I have dreams about it - normally about me bombing terribly, but the weird thing is that I'll...be actually telling jokes - shit that I haven't consciously thought of when awake. They don't always make sense in my dreams, but it's something.

"I was watching E! entertainment television, and came across a segment where they referred to 'the sexy Nicolas Cage'. Now, I'm trying to wrap my mind around this description, and I realized that Nicolas Cage was in White Palace with Susan Sarandon, who was in..." at this point my weirdly setup dream joke tails off - I think i was going to try some sort of "6 degrees of seperation" to put him next to someone who was sexy, making him so by association. I'd never thought about this 'joke' while awake, I never watch E!, and I don't think I've ever heard the phrase "the sexy Nicolas Cage" before. Randomness. Needless to say, as I'm struggling with where I'm going with this random joke, the entire population of the club got up and filed to the outdoor patio, leaving me alone on stage.

I was lonely.

I laughed at those, I didn't say that I never laughed at any of their jokes. But the majority of the tapes was me just kinda smiling abit and maybe a chuckle or too.

I don't laugh at every single thing Mencia does/say either, but what I do find funny makes me laugh my ass off. It's usually the spanish things he does/say that make me crack up, maybe that's why I like him, I can relate to what he says.
