No shit?
No shit?
Saw it posted but not answered.
Player ranged attacks can be paralyzed, and it's the most infuriating thing in the world next to "...interrupted aim"
Haha. Now the page reads that WS will not be effected by paralyze from a paralyze potion, as though the paralyze inflicted by the potion was somehow different than every other paralyze source in the game. It's so childish, her locking the topic basically equates to yelling with her fingers in her ears.
No joke. But since it appears a Paralyze Potion is the absolute strongest paralyze effect there is, why wouldn't WS be affected from it, if they actually could be?Originally Posted by Deftscythe
I'll be camping this page until the bitch unlocks it.
Are the wiki mods just completely retarded or something? lol
No, just girls who play video games.Originally Posted by Not Kuno

its there, 4 lines from the bottom. blends in with paralyze messages.
Is Nynaeve the same person who wrote that roflable whm guide on wiki someone linked in the past? If so, it makes alot of sense.
Edit- It seems also this chrisjander guy is probably in same linkshell/good friends/e-lovers(lol) as they are both same server and both link to each others wikis so she probably told him to defend her![]()
I was hoping so(in regards to the guide), but that gem was written a user named Zero.Originally Posted by Vixy

It's hilarious how a simple request for verification from BG turned into a full edit war.
lol I love this :
Yeah, a SS of a 100% Proc para potion, with a WS slipping through, is not strong evidence. Nope not at all.So far I see a screenshot showing circumstantial evidence that paralyze does not effect WS. Counter to that is a personal experience being recounted about how the user saw paralyze effect a WS. Neither is particulary stong evidnece since if anything we are talking about something that happens, if ever, very rarely.

I agree, too much of the game was designed specifically around them being available. (Heca gear anyone? Or dusk hands/feet)Originally Posted by Septimus
Also it would further distance the wars and monks as well as thf and possibly sam from everything else, as wars and monks still rely on some decent accuracy in ws allowing them to wear more fast tp gear and still have decent ws, and thf and sam are much less reliant on acc and could much more easily get away with using stronger ws gear while tp'ing.
edit: rofl I got here through the wiki link and had no idea this was on noob forum
Simply the mobs cheat when using WS. I can't tell you how many times I've had a mob, when I'm tanking on NIN, ready a WS, then do a normal melee attack to remove my last shadow (which I was counting on to absorb TP move) during the "readies WS", then have the TP attack land. When these people claim to have the WS get paralyzed only for the mob to use the same tp attack right after, they are simply seeing the normal melee attack get paralyzed and the WS still go off.
WS cannot be paralyzed by either the mob or the PC. I'm sure anyone who has blink tanked can attest to the mobs often getting an extra melee attack in while it readies whatever WS it's about to used.
You can do this as well. Wait and WS as you are about to attack. I have attacked during my WS's plenty of times. The mob isn't cheating, it's just using it's WS as it's about to enter the next attack round. Try it sometime. Works best with people who attack multiple times.(ie. MNKs, anyone Dula-Weild) You will see Readies WS, Atk, WS, Atk, which is what the mob is doing.Originally Posted by Briste
OT, that wiki person is beyond stupid.
Or that could be just lag.Originally Posted by Judai
With enough haste backup on NIN, I can push macro for WS at around 90% TP shown on my client and have it executed without "You do not have enough TP to use Weapon Skill" message, so I'd imagine it's just client-server lag.
Sure it's not Ryko's WS at 75% TP, but I'm getting there...
