Sasuke wanting to become Hokage is a little understandable in the context of when the village wanted Hashirama to be Hokage but Hashirama thinking Madara would be better suited for it. Since every generation works in cycles and Naruto's generation seems to be the one that may actually change things, it wouldn't be all that far-fetched if Sasuke actually did become Hokage. All we need to do is wait and see how it happens, assuming it does happen. I need to read that flashback again to explain it better but by the time I get around to it, maybe someone will elaborate for me.

Also imo, Naruto is destined for a lot more than Hokage assuming he doesn't end up dying at the end of this war on some Dragon Ball GT shit.

Why call Sakura alone out on not recognizing Minato? Honestly the manga has been silly overall on downplaying the man who saved the village rather recently. Shouldn't they be teaching this shit to genin? You'd think everyone in the village would know simply through word of mouth. How did no one realize that Naruto was the son of the 4th Hokage? They look the same. It's not even a passing resemblance.

3. HASHIIIIIIIIII-RAMMAAAAAA - Followed by a dimissive "I'll take care of you later." and that quiets our main antagonist. Oh Madara, you giddy little schoolgirl you.

4. Minato w/9tails cloak? Well, that escalated quickly. I guess considering he knows about seals and what little we knew about him before that it made sense. Other people could use Sage Mode so....

5. Hokage Sasuke is the funniest thing uttered in this manga in a good while. "Sorry about the Kage Summit and the Raikages arm gaiz"

I know Sasuke is supposed to be an emotional rollercoaster but for a guy dubbed a master tactician on the battlefield he seems to lack being able to read reactions. Does he think of anyone other than himself? Wait, he's 16 - nope. Even Itachi is probably laughing in the afterlife at the stupidity of his brother's comment.

Oh well, I guess this is how we get to Naruto vs. Sasuke: Battle for the Hokage status. He'd have been better off just showing up and uttering a oneliner about the village.

Yeah, I found that annoying after having all the stuff with Hinata just a little while ago. His answer should have been "Hell Naw, I'm hooking up with this Hyuga chick with some big tittays."

The rest of the chapter was baller. Minato was awesome, Hashirama was a total boss when he just blew of Madara, and seeing the 4 Hokages working together was awesome. Speaking of Hokages I'm assuming that Tsunade is dead since the last time I remember seeing her was after Madara cut her in half.

I have no problem with Saskue declaring he's going to be Hokage because in this story if your aren't aiming to be a Kage then you're a nobody. Seeing Team 7 reunited was awesome, now we just need Kakashi back with them for the rest of those feels.

Also what's up with the Negative Nancy saying that this chapter was terribad? Everything that happened here has been setup for a while now.

Guys like Jiraiya, members of the Akatsuki (Deidara, Kakazu, Kisame) and numerous other shinobi in this manga have proven themselves to be powerful and have displayed no aspirations to be a political leader. Many of the aforementioned people have been at the kage level or higher combatwise.

Sauce declaring he wants to lead people when he can barely lead himself through his own personal issues is laughable. "I wanna be Hokage" should have been revealed after Sauce developed some more or got some panels where he acted in a heroic manner thus challenging the people to consider the now versus what happened in the past.

As it stands, Kishi is just setting up for the Naru/Sauce showdown to be Hokage when Sasuke is inevitably told no.

Why exactly Sauce would show up and make such a profound statement considering his open plans to destroy Konoha (preempted by Nagato), his attack on the Kage Summit (sorry about those mooks I murdered, the Kage I tried to kill and that unimportant guy named Danzo), allying himself with the Akatsuki and Obito, trying to capture a Jinchuriki (Im sure Hidden Cloud will be like np about Bee), turning on his own allies (first team7 then Karin then team7 again), running off with a guy who killed a Kage (Orochimaru is a twisted scientist at best) and trying to kill Kakashi would all be swept under the rug?

At least the mangastream translation makes it sound like Naruto himself is unsure rather then a flat-out "yeah she by my girl son!" Probably just a dumb panel thrown in there for shits and giggles to resemble old times considering the whole chapter is a grand reintroduction for Team 7.

Taking the time to go, "Fuck no not Sakura, im planning to be with this other girl because she loves me and I held her hand this one time but we haven't talked about things anymore but maybe I do like her and we can be together..." would be dumb as shit.



As far as sasuke as hokage, he is coming to save the world now. He helped stop Kabuto and all the Zombies, he brought the Hokages as back up, and he's getting ready to go rape Madara's face. I'm sure he can manage a pardon for
- hanging out with orichimaru before trying to kill him,
- killing his brother (who everyone thoguh was evil),
-Killing Danzo (who was basically a criminal and was making the leaf look like shit)
-attempting to kidnap Bee
-Attacking the Kages at the summit.


Really only like 2-3 crimes he has committed, not a huge deal when he is now saving the world.

Tsunade isn't dead yet, she was talking to the slug last we saw her, so I'm sure all the Kages will show up soon, and thanks to Naruto and the power of friendship, Sasuke will be forgiven (this is a huge point from like 300 chapters ago).
