Honestly Minato having the 9tails cloak really isn't all that far fetched. FFS we already had the two lame dudes that were swallowed and ate the stomach, and they had some of the powers, not to mention how that little bit of chakra and the piece of the 8tails was enough to form the 10 tails even if slowly.

I did flail my arms like a retard when I saw that panel and had to hit the back button and see the panel again a second time, then looked around to see if anyone saw me.

The sasuke resolve fits fine as well, someone mentioned it got Naruto right up on his feet with the whole one-upping each other "not if I become Hokage first bitch" and it fits with Hashirama's story. Everyone everywhere wanted Hashirama to be kage but he wanted Madara to be it, and when MAD-ara didn't get it, he bitched out. Ending the cycle works with his story. Everyone wants Naruto, pass it off, everyone happy and Naruto dies or does some Jiraiya type shit or overseas all the countries or just lives peacefully with all his bitches. Then his kids and sasuke's get it on and have little rinnengans running around the place.

Even when he states he wants to become Hokage: Kishi doesn't show her at all. If Kishi would have shown her in those panels she would have not freaked out like all the others.

Given the Nature of those two Characters they WILL come together or one of them dies. Most likely Hinata.

Sauce would have a compelling story for everything he did... if he could only talk about how Itachi got set up the bomb.

That's make Danzo look like the asshole he was, justify such deep loathing of the village, the attack on the Kage Summit and even those mooks who got cut to pieces/Amaterasu'd.

Partly the reason why I wanted more of an interaction between the Third and Sasuke other then Hashirama giving a boring flashback on why the Uchiha's are a clan tailor made to be a bunch of bitches. Sarutobi had a huge involvement with the Uchiha massacre and was the only one Itachi could trust to protect Sasuke. Would've loved him calling out Sasuke's retarded logic rather then the whole "i had a change of heart after this five minute story" angle they went with.

EDIT: Meh. Now that I think about it, I guess Kishi purposely went that route to set him up wanting to be Hokage. Still dumb as shit though.

I do find it a little ironic that people were saying that Hashirama's flashback dragged on for too long and that they wanted it to end. And then now they're saying that Sasuke's view flipped too quickly.

Sasuke has been getting manipulated by people pretty much the entire manga so far. From the beginning he thought Itachi was evil and murdered his clan. And then he was manipulated by Orochimaru about gaining power to defeat Itachi. And then Itachi mind-fucked him further by not taking his eyeballs and dropping dead in front of him and telling and showing him that he loved Sasuke the entire time and was just looking out for him. And then right after that, Tobito started to brainwash him about who he should actually be fighting against. And then he fought Danzou and learned more and more mind-fucking things. And then he got Itachi's eyes into himself and shortly after that bumped into ET'd Itachi which resulted in him getting mind fucked even further. And then we're at where we are now, he got yet another story about what happened and why it happened and how history is constantly repeating itself.

I guess the important thing would be that the last 2 times he was influenced by others would be that they were in somewhat positive lights. ET'd Itachi explained how he wanted to save the village above all else save for keeping Sasuke safe. And that contradicted everything that Sasuke believed up to that point about hating the village. And given that his brother was so devoted to the village, it makes sense that at that point he'd start to think twice about destroying that same village. And then you jump to the Hokages and how all of them said they failed in some way, followed by Hashirama's story about how it all began. To me it all actually makes perfect sense that he's decided to go from changing the ninja world by destroying it, to changing the ninja world by taking charge and making sure the same mistakes in the past weren't repeated.

Cliffnotes: Sasuke has been thinking about changing the Ninja world for ages. He just went from wanting to destroy it to wanting to take charge himself and make sure history didn't repeat itself. And it wasn't only because of Hashirama's story that he changed his mind. It happened as far back as when he bumped into his ET'd brother. And I'm sure at the same time he's always been somewhat hesitant about destroying everything, even if that hesitation was just a tiny bit of hesitation in the back of his mind.

Don't think the classification of Sauce being whiny, impulsive and generally not the "genius" the series has made him out to be has changed. His sudden "lulz, I wanna be Hokage" is just another example of the same behavior he's been pulling since he bailed on Konoha for Orochimaru. New information comes before the Sauce? Ok, time to make a rash decision with huge consequences rather than logically sorting through.

What has changed is that Kishi has crafted the entire Uchiha clan into a bunch of hyper emotional people who eventually destroy themselves and others through their knee-jerk reactions. Before all of the reveals it was made out to be only Sauce always running on full impulse but now we've seen what Itachi, Obito and Madara have done we can safely blame some of it on the clan.
