    I still don't understand why he would want to come back to life. I mean, as he is, he's immortal, invincible, has infinite chakra. And he just has to avoid someone sealing him which based on how ridiculously overpowered he is, would be pretty easy I'd imagine.

    There must be some clause or reason. Maybe he has to be alive to be the 10-tail's host? I dunno

    Yeah, they said exactly that a couple of chapters back in a conversation between Obito and Madara. He needs his own living body to become the 10-tails jinchurriki. Which I guess is a special exception for the 10-tails considering there were six edo-tensei'd jinchurriki at one point.

    Not like it matters anyways, I fully expect Obito to double-jew reverse-eye-hax Madara from forcing him to cast Rinne Tensei.

    Good point. Madara could have just meteored the alliance over and over until everyone was dead. But now that 4 zombie hokages are here, he's actually in some trouble.

    That plus, hypnotizing the world is still his goal, I think he probably still considers himself a good guy, trying to end everyone's pain and shit by putting them al in a dream world. So taking over the 10 tails and finishing his plan is preferable to killing everyone.

    He's never used any genjutsu as far as I recall and yet they're both in a genjutsu tug-of-war?

    I was kind of annoyed at it, but then they both stabbed each other again anyway so I got less annoyed.

    Kakashi is strong enough to be a Hokage. Dude has copied over 1000 techniques. Has a Mangekyo Sharingan. Not surprised in the least he can throw down in a genjutsu battle.

    Madara doesnt care much for obito all he needed was a stand-in while gathering the tailed beasts. Doubt he got much training.

    Could be a stretch, but wasn't it implied he used Genjutsu during his very first fight with Zabuza (when they were talking about how the Sharingan worked in the first place?)

    Plus, while Obito was trained by Madara to some extent, he was still a crap-tier ninja compared to Kakashi. Hell, Kakashi knows how to use the Sharingan better than most Sharingan users, so.

    No proof for either side. Does training him significantly make sense when he intends to use this individual to merge with the Juubi? Does not training him make sense when this individual is the core of his plans? Does the fact that we haven't seen Susanoo appear make sense if Madara did do training? Is Kakashi's copycat ninja title relevant when comparing his technique against a seasoned genjutsu user? Really, we're just going to go around picking and choosing which of these we assume to be the case at this point.
