Yep, and real Madara made his first appearance. The quality of this weeks episode was god awful, lol. But it's because it looks like they're putting all the funding into making next week's episode look absolutely amazing. The previews for it looked pretty sick

We've still got everything with Sasuke, Itachi, and Kabuto to wade through before even approaching current stuff. I have no doubt they can slip filler in along the way, too, but I can basically see not getting to the present until December or so.

Madara fucking up the kages will probably take an episode or two.
Naruto still has to headbutt Obito, get flashback with chibi-Kurama, and brofist the other beasts. Probably at least 2 episodes here.
Stuff with Kabuto will probably be 3 episodes, starting off with their initial fight, second introducing new eye-hax, third giving Kabuto's flashback before him undoing edo.
Madara maintains himself, 10-tails is summoned, and Orichimaru returns after Juugo ans Suigetsu meet up.
Hebi/Hawk/Pedo sally off to summon the kage for an episode.
We get 2-3 episodes of Hashirama backstory with Madara.
Jump back to the warfront, scrubs fighting, Shikamaru doing his thing after command goes boom, and Neji takes one for the team.
Obito is revealed along with Madara backstory and his fight with Kakashi. Maybe 2 episodes.
Kage and Sasuke arrive, some random BS, blah blah fighting with 10-tails for an episode.
Jump over to kages for a bit, then back to fight for Obito to return and yoink the 10-tails from Madara.

Potentially 17 there, so 4 months and change not including random weeks off or filler. December still seem impossible?

i'm sure it can be dragged out for longer than that even if they choose to, the fight with naruto vs. obito felt like it went on for aaaages (and it basically hasn't stopped in like a year or something)

Whatever, if they can't make the episode quality remotely decent I won't bother watching anyway. Don't really understand why their apparent budget is so low considering naruto's supposed to be pretty popular, maybe the fillers have turned people off it.

The art in this manga fucking blows. If people weren't standing still in order to explain what's going on I'd never figure it out.

Also, agreed that Kishi needs to wrap this shit up; it's hit DBZ levels of annoying with the constant form changes and power level explanations. Just fucking do something that doesn't end in some one changing forms again . I swear he's writing this shit strictly for the anime, cause when you look at 3-4 chapters at a time they'd make a great episode, but in a comic book it's slow and boring.
