While they tend to yank kunai and shuriken out of their little side pouches, I wouldn't rule out a senbon needle or two being standard issue. Thread could then just be harvested from his clothes, but certainly an infection risk. Basic first aid like a bandage and disinfectant may even be carried, too. Just something silly to be getting uppity over, really.

True, I see you on that! Zabuza and Haku feels is actually one of my fav feels. Shame Kishi didn't go far with Kakashi using Zabuza's sword in remembrance. But those overall feels, lol. Salodin's post right below yours also shares some of my sentiments too.

Can only get psyched up for the final fight so many times.

Can't remember if it was an anime only thing or was said somewhere in manga too, but I'm fairly sure it was said at some point that needles and threads are part of the standard ninja equipment.

That and Kakashi being one of the few damned characters in the series to be smart enough to not only carry, but know how to use it.
