I enjoyed this chapter, I've been expecting Sakura to have to sacrifice herself like granny puppet master did for Gaara but it looks like that may not be the case if they can reach the 4th hokage. Also that's pretty gnarly of her to cut him open and pump his heart by hand.

I don't really remember the other half of the 9 tails' demeanor so it could be interesting to see if it affects Naruto in a different way than the portion that he has had his whole life.

And yeah Madara looks like a boss in 6 Paths mode.

I'm going to say 100% of writers doing any semi-lengthy series is going to say the same thing. Foreshadowing's a bitch especially if you can't go back and insert/change stuff.
New ideas come up all the time, change in direction, etc, and if you have stuff already out, it's impossible to change it.

I feel like giving characters more screen time would be one of those things he'd want to do, even if it meant cutting out some. It's always been one of my gripes with longer manga to try and include this giant cast, but in reality they're little more than just disposable plot devices. The fact he's tried to cover 3 generations, at least, is also a bitch in a limited weekly format. Things like this are why we could kind of get official filler stuff done on the side/by assistants for this and Bleach. Instead, we're left with anime to maybe fill in the gaps, but obviously to questionable reception. Oh well.

First Kakashi episode was pretty bad ass. Hoping when Madara shows up in front of him next week in the manga Kakashi just Kamui's his ass away and the war just ends there.

The manga in general just fell apart after the Pain battle. Basic Naruto lore Kishi established was tossed out the window and everything became zombified fight all the bosses again Megaman style with freaking Obito.

Absolutely loving the Kakashi gaiden and seeing a young Asuma doesn't hurt either. What was wild is the Tsuchikage (I know probably spelled wrong) still being the same old man. I am curious how old is he really? I hate to say it but I like filler eps in this fashion compared to seeing shino laugh fillers and Hinatu learning new soft water step style filler. Give me the backstory of all Kages from the various nations and how they went down or interacted(fought) would be nice. I am still curious who killed the 1st Hokage or how did he die since he died young.

I've been wondering this for *ages*. I'm wondering if the fight with Madara left him so messed up or exhausted that some catastrophe after left him pretty vulnerable.

I'm going with "Death by frying pan" though, because the person or group that took down Ninja Jesus would be infamous throughout the ninja world and never shut up about it.

Or, like any other overpowered character in a shonen manga, he died due to TB.
