Haha! I also explained why Tobirama didn't "sense" him. Plot device added by Kishi -- he could have had a human reaction for a quick second, second guessing himself and ironically asking who it was even was when he should know. That or Izuna is hiding his chakra, or whatever randomness Kishi will use to make it Izuna regardless.
It just seems too convenient for Tobirama to be incapacitated right next to a dying Sasuke, after saying all of that stuff to him regarding Izuna, then suddenly a "new person" appears.
Fucking golden.
Rikudo Madara's expression at the end was hilarious.
I'm laughing that this happened.
Am I the only one who caught feels at the Minato/Kushina flashback?
I am?
Well, okay then.
There's like tryhard feels every other chapter now.
Black Zetsu stealing the Kyuubi's chakra feels kinda cheap because these people should have know he could do that shit and they went ahead and tried to do such a critical move right in front of him without any defensive measures. He did the same goddamn move a few chapters ago when Obito was dying.
You're not. However, the feels we have are different from other people's feels. I think that's what makes Kishi's (and to a lesser extent Kubo's) manga so good. They invoke many feels in the readers, for various reasons.
Where we saw a touching father moment that was exploited by Black Zetsu, other people saw a once amazing Hokage fall from grace one last time by not being aware of the situation at hand for that short moment. I saw so many posts like "OMG the 4th looks like an idiot, what was he doing?" When it should have been obvious he had a touching moment for a split second followed by a "Nope."
tl;dr: I know that feel, bro. Despite what people say, Kishi does some amazing things with basic human emotion sometimes.
Seemed cheap to me.
Seemed completely out of character to me. Black Zetsu was right in front of them. He was in a similar situation with Naruto when he was a baby and had the instinct back then to insta-warp away from danger. Now of all times he goes potato with feelings? Meh.
For someone purported to be the most adept and skilled Hokage ever, it just seemed cheap that he wouldn't know Zetsu was jumping in the way. Then again, he did say he needed two hands to do the Hiraishin didn't he? Couldn't Gaara just have picked him up and flown off? It would seem to make more sense.
Kushina and Minato ones actually work though. Naruto meeting Kushina and Minato were easily two of the highest "them feels" points of the entire manga. And it has a lot to do with how Naruto's story is so entwined with being an orphan and trying to live up unconsciously to the standard of his father.
It's impossible for me to feel for Karin because her character development is basically stuck at Sakura and Ino pre-timeskip (SASSSSUUUKKKE-KUN). Sakura for Naruto is a little better, but I feel Kishimoto dropped the ball in developing this. She got punked by Hinata and never recovered (which by-the-by is probably another one of the high points of the series).
I agree with this entirely. Add in everything between Naruto and Jiraiya, and Naruto and Iruka too. Jiraiya's death, the flashback he had before willing himself to write that secret code, whoa boy, big feels. And then add in Naruto's reaction and Iruka's little chat (as well as a bunch of other moments throughout the manga, including the 1st fucking chapter too lol)

Quite a disturbing lack of Itachi when discussing feels.
Just look at that picture. Let the feels flow through you. Itachi is the fucking man.
While I'm all in for Itachi being the fucking man, Sasuke being a little bitch puts a big damper on a lot of Itachi's boss moments lol
Itachi is awesome, but I think it's hard for any of us to really hold up any moment involving Sasuke as "Right in the feels." Epecially after Sasuke spent the better part of the decade being a whiny petulant bitch shitting all over Itachi's sacrifice and wishes.
I'm talking more in terms of recent chapters like the last 10-20. Itachi easily gets the most feels in the entire manga. Dude was arguably the most tragic character and you didn't see him go bitch-mode a la Obito.
Is it really that hard to feel for Sasuke after what Itachi did to him? I mean, Itachi stuck to his ideals even when it meant some deep cover deception but until it was all revealed Sauce was pretty justified in his actions. Big bro treats you like shit for years, mindfucks you with Sharingan, fights you to the death and it's supposed to be all solid because he was really doing it to protect Konoha?
Welp, there goes years of my life on a bungled revenge plot. Cue psychosis and Mangekyos here. *insert revenge arc*
Now that Itachi has revealed everything and Sasuke has reconciled with his bro, you can look back at the petulance and justify most of Sauces actions. All in all he killed Danzo who needed to die and killed a couple of fodder idiots. Oh and he caused the Raikage to lose an arm because Raikage didn't give a shit. I'm still not feeling this Hokage nonsense though.
