BZ saw the 3-way attack happening, and clinged to Obito to save himself (and the chakra he has). He stayed clinged cause he thought Obito was on Madara's side, and Obito was walking to Madara all buddy buddy. Of course, being a shonen manga, after Obito betrays Madara (we don't know what he's exactly doing yet) he goes on a mini ramble while every one watches.

When I say control BZ I mean move the part of BZ that was covering his left hand so he could make a new six paths staff after sticking his right hand into Madara

1. It's no surprise Minato is a Sage. If he didn't kick it early, he'd probably be the link between the frogs and Kakashi.

2. You can see the wound on Kakashi's chest. I don't think we've ever seen a Rasengan straight up create an exit wound before even on killing blows (Pain), but we've seen people walk away from direct hits at full power (Obito). Although since Minato had Senjutsu and was looking to kill, and Kakashi seems to be running on fumes, it's probably a bit of a stretch.

It's pretty stupid he would ask Naruto to add Senjutsu to the attack if he can do that himself so quickly. Notice he didn't even need to charge his Senjutsu.

Kishimoto's latest take on Naruto's exceptionability for the last few years has been Naruto's proficiency with molding chakra - mastering Sage mode so easily, being able to distribute the Kyuubi chakra, then mixing Senjutsu with Fox chakra.

Now granted it's kind of fucking stupid that Naruto can mix and mold all this chakra so effortlessly but he still needs a clone to shape the Rasengan, but the answer might just be that Minato can't merge the two chakra types (he doesn't have Fox cloak anymore after all).

Also they were standing still during Madara's whole soliloquy. Minato was probably charging chakra the entire time to strike at the decisive moment, just like how Naruto did it to surprise Obito.

It's not a contradiction, but you do have to accept terrible conclusions.

Either Minato does not know how to mix them (And there's been no evidence that this is difficult; the only relevant factor is Kurama's unwillingness to share his den with the toad/his offense at the use of Senjutsu) or he does know how to mix them but he chose not to during a dire situation.

Pervy Sage told Naruto when he was teaching him the technique that nobody had been able to mold elemental chakra into it; his father died before he could master it, and naruto cheated by turning a year+ process into a few days via hax clones training.

As far as Minato knowing sage mode, when Naruto arrived to face Pain, old ass Ma and Pa frogs both noticed how much he looked like Pervy Sage and his father.
