What I'm saying is madara ripped his beast out, I wouldn't assume he still has any beast chakra. If he did, then why is he dying and why does the 9 tails chakra save him but no one else? I am still under the impression that the chakra they gave him was just a plot jitsu to explain his continued endurance in a 2 day war arc that's lasted almost 2 years.
wait, hasnt Gai opened his 8 gates before? against the shark guy?
That's too logical of an answer. This is a Shonen Jump manga here, Naruto will need some mega-upgrade to let him compete with Madara and him becoming a pseudo-10 tailed Jinchuuriki Sage using the power of friendship and teamwork to overcome the biggest, trolliest, baddest enemy in the Naruto-verse just seems most fitting.
If we don't see 8 gates I'll be very disappointed. Already have Kubo holding shit back during Bleach fights in the final arc. Don't need Kishi following suit.
It did hit him and we saw the damage in another chapter. Whether the damage Kakashi sustained was inconsistent with what we know Sage Mode Rasengans to deal is another matter.
And the Rasengan is completely self-sustaining once formed, so it shouldn't dissipate when the arm is severed.
That's actually not true. Naruto said it himself when he was learning it (his second stage of the training iirc) that its so hard to do it right (cause his sphere was all gimpy) because he has to constantly be pushing chakra into it. That, plus the random rotation, are why its such a powerful ability. Also why it suits him perfectly.
they most certianly do fizz out. when he fought the dude with the elemental souls, the first one he tried fizzed out and almost got him killed. also, the first against kabuto gave him the finger upon delivery.
That being said, the impact a rasengen does has been consistant the entire series. looks like a crater on everyone they've hit, nothing more. just intense damage at the source. the only difference with sage mode versions is size/numbers formed due to just stupid amounts of concentration going on. the damage was consistent with all, minus the pein bodies/summons because, as i like to think, already dead, etc
It is mentioned that once the Rasengan is formed, it is self-sustaining. This is why it's pure shape manipulation is compared favorably to the Raikiri/Chidori which expends constant chakra due to the elemental manipulation only. Naruto had issues learning it because he had issues with the chakra control necessary both form/maintain the shell while also twisting the inner chakra.
As for damage, the inconistency we see with lethal damage is what I'm referring to. So far we've seen most people survive direct Rasengan hits: Obito survived a direct Rasengan to the spine from Minato, that guy Jiraiya punked when it was first introduced, Kabuto from Naruto... but a bunch of the Pain clones died to Sage Mode Rasengans in 1-shot, including Deva Path to a non-Sage.
That also brings into question why/how the Rasengan and Chidori are comparable strength wise since Chidori has proved to be lethal damage on almost every direct hit we have seen it through exit-wound type penetrations. The Rasengan doesn't even break skin even if it has tremendous concussive force.
Honestly, I think of them as the difference between a very powerful punch and using a knife. It does not take much pressure to pierce someone with a knife, but using a punch to do the same would take a bit more effort. It is called the Raikiri after all.
Spoiler: show
My point is that chumps should be getting blown the fuck up from Rasengans instead of having some swirly bruises. I get that Chidori is designed to act as a blade that pierces flesh, but if Rasengan has the sheer concussive force to do that to metal, bitches should have exit wounds from that being shoved into their bodies.
Shonen bodies are more durable than metal.
well, keep in mind that the chidori is already elementally charged, where as the OG Rasengan is not. The Rasenshuriken, on the other hand, has either completely ripped in 2, or completely shredded anything it has touched.
I think he already had learned it; i think it was when he was learning sage mode
When they did that autopsy on Kakuzu, as well, didn't they say that it did the damage at a cellular level?
