It was confirmed by Toriyama wasn't it? Mystic Gohan is the strongest single character in the series. Also Mystic form unlocks all his powers and renders Super Saiyan unnecessary.

I'm pretty sure it was confirmed Mystic Gohan was the strongest. They flat out said if he tried to go SSJ in that form he'd blow up the planet.
