^ That's exactly how it was, though. To the regular person, he was a hero, but behind the scenes, its all politics and he only has power when he stamps his "authority" tag on it. None of this comes as a surprise to me at all as I watch it, because its pretty goddamn realistic.

If anything, I get a "why dont you just kill Danzo already" vibe, but I know that if he did that, Konoha would basically go under civil war between root and the anbu.

As predicted by many people (myself included) weeks ago, Gai isn't dead. Albeit, he's beaten up to shit obviously but I'm sure he'll make a mostly full recovery.

Also, Naruto is apparently now just as strong and fast as 8th gate Gai with his new power-up lol. But I do very much like that he's mixing the Bijuu's powers into his Rasengans. That's fucking dope! Add into it that he finally fucking made a new and super-powerful Rasengan without the use of clones. Albeit, I'm sure the Bijuu's spirits/chakra's/etc are in some way helping him create the techniques
