You know, with the significance of that last panel with Kakashi looking up at the Sharingan, I'm starting to think Tobi is Obito (again, lulz). Itachi has never said, iirc, that Tobi was/is Madara. Just that Madara was around etc. etc., and the way Tobi revealed the name before to Pain and Konan makes me believe he was comparing himself to Madara. "My power... Uchiha Madara's power..." just doesn't sound like something someone would say about themselves.

At any rate I'm glad Tobi sidestepped Kiba to make him look like a bitch. I've never cared for Kiba.

Maybe a bit a silly question, but how comes that you all are so sure that tobi is madara?
I always thought that tobi is Obito, just because of the hair, name and sharingan

Honestly, the line "My power...Uchiha Madara's power.." has always been a confusing one. Was Tobi saying he is Madara and has his power or is he just comparing the powers as Ivaden said. I don't know though. People have been thinking about the whole Tobi/Obito thing for a long time now. Maybe this just helps us piece it together even more. We've seen how unpredictable it can get. Look at Pein/Pain's story afterall. We all thought he resembled someone, when actually he's someone else completely that we didn't know.

Either way, I can't wait to find out though. It at least gets me back into reading the Naruto manga. Tobi is badass.

Well Orochi is still inside of Kabuto. I don't how thats going to play out but it seems like Kabuto wants to deal with like a jinchuriki when he last talked with Naruto.

His Chakra is also inside Sasuke, as was shown in that last battle. If Sasuke loses control of this Chakra Orochimaru could easily gain control of his body and we have the new Orochimaru.

Well, it's possible that Tobi is Obito acting as Madara's representative, and Madara is somewhere else entirely. Itachi's conversation with Sasuke strongly implies that Madara is still alive somewhere. Of course, Madara could also be dead, and Obito has just been posing as him for the last few years. Or Madara took over Obito by using Orochimaru's snake jutsu

nah we get to wait till next week for an hour long special where sasuke runs off in the first 5 minutes then the rest of the episode is naruto getting depressed and having flashbacks of their entirely relationship up to that point.

Somehow I don't doubt that's a possibility, but as for the "My power, etc etc" line, I always saw that as him pretty much saying he wasn't Madara, but had the same power/strength/whatever as him. Just my two cents, but I don't think that Tobi is the Madara from the first Hokage's time. Oh yeah, and I think that last chapter made it totally obvious that Tobi backstabbed Itachi somehow. I knew Itachi was stronger than that. What a shame.

Yea but if Sasuke loses control of the chakra again while fighting pretty much anyone else I dont think it would go that way. This IS Orochimaru we're talking about.

I think Orochimaru was suppose to be sealed because of that attack. The sword was supposed to seal people in a genjutsu forever, meaning orochimaru is gone for good.

Orichimaru left Sasuke body, gone bye bye and such. Sasuke no longer has Orochimaru's chakra in him. Aloe Vera(lol) said this himself. The remnants of what could have been Orochimaru was burned by Amaterasu and his chakra form is supposed to be sealed away in some genjustsu realm by Itachi's sword. So, as of right now....Sasuke is Orochimaru free (imo it'd be nice is he was cursed seal free as well).

There could be some way that Snakevomiter survived (lol maybe he helped kill Itachi not likely) Anyway my point was to emphasize that there's no Orochimaru ready to take over Sasuke inside Sasuke anymore. If Orichimaru is still alive then he's outside Sasuke's body.

Yeah, according to Zetsu, Orochimaru's presence in Sasuke is gone. He is still partly inside of Kabuto though, so he's definitely not gone, but the snake that was seen slithering a couple chapters ago was all burned up.

As for the curse seal, the last chapter didn't show it at all. Albeit, there wasn't a really good angle of that part of Sasuke's shoulder. So it could or couldn't be there. While Juugo was the one in whom the curse seal was originally derived from, Orochimaru was the one who took it and started giving it to people. So there could be some argument that Sasuke has lost it. But we won't know until some more chapters pass, I guess
