    Thought it was a good chapter. Also looking forward to the new movie, even though I said the same about the alternate dimensions one and never saw it.

    It ended up being kind of lame. Because they hardly had any of the other characters in the movie :/ was mostly just Naruto and Sakrua with their normal personalities chasing "Madara(Obito)".

    Why? I've seen plenty of animated media come out of Japan that didn't run itself into the ground by dragging out poorly written story. Naruto could have been the same, not like they couldn't pull a DBZ and still release media and games for it decades after it was already over lol.

    Who says they're not going to do that anyway with Naruto?

    At this point, I feel like Kishi himself wants to end Naruto, but is just kind of botching up trying to wrap up the ending with a perfect bow-tie. It's obvious that both he and Jump have a mutual understanding that Naruto is going to be ending soon. But I think a lot of the blame with the story getting so blown out of proportion is Kishi wanting the story to go full circle from the origins of the Ninja world to the current date, with the "new/next generation" taking over and doing shit properly for that near perfect ending.

    Anyone ever draw parallels between Kakashi and Mustang from FMA? They almost went down the same exact path, yet one is ultimately useless against a crew of jesus ninja's and the other is still relatively competitive against a philosopher stone of god.
